Thanks so much for playing and following 😊 There isn’t any enemies it’s about moving the garage to the garbage truck slowly and carefully trying no to drop it. The movement is intentionally difficult so items will fall off and you can buy upgrades to your robot to stop things falling off. I would have like to make the legs work better they are a bit tuff but ran out of time.

Very polish and beautiful game

Yeah it’s a bug but I left in a few bug “cheats” so people could always finish 😊

Pretty great 👍 sadly didn’t see that cat but I like that the puzzle reolvoled around color so the game was easy to pickup and have. The art gave me that nice dos vibe ✨️

Thank you 😊 I have been getting back into drawing this year and opened an etsy. I was thinking of polishing it up for release, and releasing the build system as an extension maybe 🤔

Nice art and very fun and polished

Very cute, I think the jiggle of the blocks could be more pronounced but very nice 😊

Very fun game :) resetting the sliders on jump was a bit annoying but pretty creative and good level design

Ah ok thanks for playing! maybe the collision is too small 🤔

The robot parts need to be on the robot to trash them

Thank you so much 😊 yeah its a bit hard to get used to but if you hold down s,x or a,z you can a good gallop going 😀

Very fun! yeah i agree with TeamSunForge

  • getting stuck on the ground
  • blind leaps of faith

I like the fading away, I think a hard pixelated fade instead of a feathered fade would cause less blind leaps of faith or changing the color of the platform so when they are faded they are easier to see the edge of.

sadly true but I’ll do my best to make it playable if i have time

I know me too! :( I want to find some time to finish it. Thank you so much

Thank you so much!, its tamagotchi chic lol It was a lot of fun exploring this art style. Shame I wasn’t able to finish but I am still keen to make a monster taming game

Very fun! I love the music and sounds

I tried running it in browser but I didn’t see any chickens?

A very polished game! Loved it ❤️

I will try to address these bugs tomorrow night 🙇‍♂️

Bugs reported

  • fall off screen top/bottom
  • multiple berry
  • lose screen when all the berries are gone
  • jump sound repeated

Thank you! The multiple berries, I do want to fix this but I don’t know but I don’t know how to integrate over all instances in gdevelop yet 😅

very beautiful and cool character designs! Humour is good. very enjoyable

sound was gorgeously squishy. Atmosphere is top notch, I think an attack animation would be good like a charge or a pinch would make it funnier, it feels like a damage animation so it took a while to know if I was winning or losing. Good job very spooky

My first Gdevelop game actually, we pretty nice. yeah I would have liked to do a mood shift to spooky when the bats are on screen by no time and I don’t know much about gdevelop yet

I think You needed a cool down on space as the sounds played to many times

yes! I did try this using audio channels to make it not play if it was playing but my solution didn’t work so I removed it :(

Not sure if the bats kill you you did seem to lose points also the levels didnt end when all fruit was collected.

The bats make you respawn and remove 5 points. Your right I need to add a lose screen if you don’t reach the goal and run out of fruit. Do you know how I can check if all the berry instances are removed?

Thank you so much for playing and reviewing <3

You can click the text for each level sorry I should make it more buttony

Hey Nikki, Thank you so much for giving me feedback and a chance to fix them 😊 you can contact me at yo dot stagfoo dot com

A user has done up a guide for each character here https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2996341285

I haven’t had any reports about the map crashing but I can investigate that

I do agree I need to design a visual element to better illustrate the letter has been delivered and a how to play screen.

Hi Tremarl ☺

the copyright ruling is very new so I don’t think its set in stone but I think we agree on the legal and consent based elements. I mentioned consent because its a common point that makes people uncomfortable and by making people train there own AI makes the task no longer low effort.

I agree that AI generation makes it easier to create aimless art with premade models but its not easy to create artwork with purpose like you need for these novels. I agree AI Art doesn’t teach you how to be a digital painter; using AI Art generation is closer to the role of an art director. The jam allows purchased & premade public assets so improving and showcasing your skills as an art director or digital artist or vroid character designer or metahuman designer or any other art abstraction are all part of the spirit of the jam in my opinion but lets wait and see. I hope our differing points of view can help the hosts of the jam in their choice of rules and I hope you have a great jam 🫂!

I think the current rule is pretty fair. I don’t see why there would be a reason to ban things generated with your own data or royalty free data using a diffusion model. the current rule touches on the main issue which is consent to use that IP. Currently the hosted solutions Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, NovelAI its not publicly known if they have artist consent for their models and ChatGPT definitely doesn’t have peoples consent because its trained on web scrapping. Banning prompt based AI excludes perfectly valid uses of the technology.

Excited for my first NaNoRenO jam.

I wanted to clarify the AI rules if possible

  • Use of Creative Commons material is okay.
  • Any premade assets used must be publicly available (either free or paid)
  • AI-generated assets are only allowed if you own the training data. (e.g. Photoshop’s content-aware fill, training an entirely separate instance of AI on exclusively your work, using ML to remix art with permission from the artist, etc.) Systems in which the training data is not owned by the dev (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, and similar) are not allowed at this time.

I’m currently building a custom AI art model as part of my workflow but some of the training data information is not available anymore am I still able to use it even though:

  • the unknown training data is only a portion of the mixed training data to create the model
  • the AI process is only part of my asset generation workflow, the “bones” of the artwork are not AI generated (my current workflow is sketch then photo-bash then AI Oilily Filter)

The models I am using are allowed for commercial use.

If its too much of a grey area, I will just include 2 build versions(one with the filter & one without) during development and once voting starts hide the AI filter version so there is no confusion.

I played the game, password seems to work. interesting enemies, I liked the item placement, movement speed was a bit slow

this was a great game, fun and polished!

Thank you 😊 I’m trying a few styles for jam games in the future. Here is a HD example https://twitter.com/stagfoo/status/1613070486719844353?t=c3VUAuX7VC5V-f8wAbuVbA&s=19

This was pretty fun, the first shop at the start was a confusing I didn’t know it was a shop but the 2nd time I got it. good level design, good game balance.

what OS are you running? I can do a desktop build for you :)

Thank so much to playing!, yeah I used a hidden grid map but If i use this again I think I will use custom collision shapes

loved it!

Interesting concept! it was difficult to know how the train would react to the numbers I think if the track sprite design hinted to the player a consistent unit of measurement it would be more enjoyable solving the puzzle.

I think you did a super great job here! was very cool and the character design in the clock was a great touch! I found everything but the door lol

I had the same issue as @perplexgg, as on discord or the community tab but im pretty sure you can upload any fixes during voting :)

Coroutine couldn't be started because the the game object 'transitionScreen' is inactive!

pretty big feeling world, I liked the art style, cool character designs reminded me of castle of the winds

pretty nice, good lighting and nice cam shake. The fact the enemies don’t hurt you is interesting. I could see this as a mode in a game like geometry wars 👾
