Great game, but if you always stay on the top left, only two enemies will be able to hit you.
Thanks! And you've made a good point. I cheese that way myself too sometimes. I'm adding some stuff in an update that might discourage that a bit more.
Very fun! I love the music and sounds
A very polished game! At first it's not very clear that you can let enemies fly past (I thought the goal of the game was to not let enemies pass). Also, the shooting does not go to the centre of the cursor, but somewhat lower, which is confusing when shooting small enemies. And so the graphics, sound and gameplay are done at an excellent level!
Thank you for the feedback! I planned to have a little tutorial in the beginning to mitigate confusion but didn't have the time. About the shooting not being totally accurate, it looks like it's off by 8 pixels because I forgot to add a necessary offset to the angle of the trajectory. Whoops. I'll have that fixed after the jam.
It's really clean and simple, both the pixel art and the sounds compliments. The only flaw is that it didn't allow me to move with WASD but I mitigated by shooting.
Thanks for the compliments and feedback! I'm not sure why you weren't able to move. I know that if you accidentally click outside of the game's window you aren't able to move until you've clicked inside the game again. That's the only thing I can think of. If that's not the issue, arrow keys also work for movement.
Had a lot of fun playing this one! Would love to see a checkpoint system added or some power ups! I felt like so many enemies spawn with enough health that it made it feel impossible to do any damage to the boss. Overall was really impressed with the presentation!!
Thanks for your feedback! I'm glad you had fun despite the lack of power-ups and checkpoints. I wanted to add power-ups but ran out of time. The checkpoint system though I did not think of. That's a good idea.
Good idea for a game. Not bad graphics. I thought it was too long for one round. I played for a very long time, died at the end and everything started again.
Thanks! Yeah, it's a bit long and I died right at the end myself a few times. It can be frustrating. I'm thinking of making it easier after the jam.
Great game you made there. Feel, the punch to the attacks, enemy variety, great boss fight, pick ups ....
Everything fits well together.
Solid work!
Thanks! That's all the things I prioritized because I knew I didn't have time to add things like a story and a well-thought-out tutorial. I still wasn't able to add all the pickups I wanted though. I'll probably add them in a post-jam update.
Adorable work. It's a lot of fun playing your game! Well done!
Loved the game, the sound, the music and how the ideia of the colossal enemy was implemented, awesomee!!! Congratulations!!
great graphic and sound. I loved the totural system also.
Thanks! I wanted there to be more than that at the intro but I was pretty short on time. I guess my simple way of doing a tutorial did get the job done though
great art
Thanks! The art was my main focus
Really nice gameplay! The art, the enemies, the sound beat and the rhythm got me. Congratz!!!
Wow that was impressive great game feel and but all the other important bits are really solid. As a fellow Gdeveloper I am impressed with what you achieved.
Thanks! I love Gdevelop because some things like game feel are really easy to do. Doing the same thing in something like Godot would personally take me ages.
