Fun little puzzle game, not too hard but not trivial either. Also, Slime :}

A Pretty good game as it goes! not really big on getting over it type games but still! competent little piece of machinery

I really like that the pausing allows you to see the recipes and stops the timer,  makes that difficulty more possible. this is really polished for such a simple premise, really nice1

I'm glad! I was worried the game might be too tedious

Thank you! Yes everything minus the what's in the credit and the cover art is my work!

This goes hard, no notes

(1 edit)

Thank you! a slime trail was an idea i messed with early on but it ended up being too much of a hassle for the time I had

Really cute, and really fun! My favorite part is when I have made some phallus-shaped abomination to mine hard to reach ore and my supervisor calls in

The concept is pretty gnarly! love the space invaders vibe and sprites. Despite the arcade vibes, this is perhaps better played as an exe rather than in website as the website border is pretty dark and makes the game harder when you're trying to not die

I won't repeat what everyone else said, yeah, the mouse is a big painful, but the game's pretty good (and funny!)

Bit of a slow start as any good idle game ought to be, fun to see the numbers go up but bit of a shame there's no win condition! still, pretty creative!

this is an impressive little (heh) game! its mechanic are simple and it follows through on them with their levels just long enough that it doesn't feel like it ends too quickly.

my one complaint is that the movement can be a bit jank at times, not too big a deal. Also I got stuck for a bit because I didn't realize the broken hall at the start was passable if you're small, but that's on me

At the early stages of development I considered making splitting halve your size and spawn a slime of equal size, but the mechanic of splitting to free yourself if you get stuck in a wall stayed.

was considering some kind of dash ability that you can use when you can't split, or at least making the slimes slightly more intelligent and follow you around. Also the slimes are intended to distract enemies somewhat (the knight in particular goes after them) but in function it doesn't seem to work that well.

and lastly, don't know if you caught it but the slime friends drop blobs if killed, which can be recollected for food.

A little harder than it seems at first, though still pretty fun! Feels like a good old arcade game with a solid base, can't wait to see more levels for this

Don't tell anyone, but the maze part of the game is pretty much made after the Pacman map!

As for the speed, yeah, i got that feedback, I was gonna change it last minute before submitting but thought I'd rather have something playable submitted at least. I will see it that the speed feels a little less drastic next update

This plugin is honestly a lifesaver, especially since it does sounds for sprinting as well! I had given up on my project because I was struggling with adding footsteps about a year ago before this came out, so this is much appreciated!

I have only two complaints though, one is that there's no wood floor tag, minor complaint really. The other that it returns an error when you walk on a terrain that doesn't have any of the sound tags allocated, that is a pretty big problem, but I understand this has been discontinued so it's fine.

(For anyone downloading this, I'd recommend editing the files to add a line that uses a silent OGG sound file for footsteps on terrains with the terrain tag 0. You can also add your own terrain tags this way)
