I really liked the extendy/stretchy bit on the arm, it had a really nice feel to it when climbing. I'm not sure if it's intentional, but when you hit the ground and hear the sound effect but it doesn't attach causes you curse the heavens. I kept feeling like I wanted higher mouse sensitivity in the game, as if I didn't have enough room on the screen for the mouse movements to get the movement I desired. I almost gave up at the jump section (the first area with unclimbable wall), but I persevered and made it past to the boost. Nice job.

Can’t even get past the first ledge man this is impossible💀💀💀

Edit: I feel like if the mouse would have been locked it would be so much easier the controls are just not good.

Developer

what do you mean by having the mouse "locked"?

Submitted(+1)

Set Input.MouseMode to MOUSE_MODE_CAPTURED to so that cursor doesn’t get stuck when it reaches the edges of the screen. It should be locked on the center and hidden like in fps games.

Way too hard xd

Well, some getting over it vibes here, hehe. Works pretty good though.

loved it a lot but got stuck at the ice area, I would definitely play a full version of it If I could. great work!

Hard yet fun, showing a new way for climbing game. Thank you for the inspiration!

I had a good time, but the pick axe arm was not very sticky. I kept lagging through things or it would detatch for no reason x)

A Pretty good game as it goes! not really big on getting over it type games but still! competent little piece of machinery

Really like how you really need to use your momentum in this. The booster is also a very nice addition because it makes it a lot less frustrating to get back up to the top

Fun and addicting game, I like the art style too. I think click and hold controls would be easier and more intuitive.

Controls feel very clunky because the arm thing is quite slow and auto-grabs stuff

I could not figure out how to get by the ice, but i like this spin on getting over it

its a really good game but very frustrating.  like, worse than getting over it

this is hard for me to rate because I reaaaaally don’t like this type of game, I promise i’m doing my best to not rate based on preference but on merit of the game.

I appreciate the boost very very very much in terms of giving the movement some depth that this type of game always lacks.

as a non-enjoyer of this type of game, I find this more enjoyable than getting over it (if that’s good or not I don’t know)

it tooke me quite a while to understand how to move, and the momentum is very very tricky (again for someone that isn’t good at this type of thing) but rewarding when getting it right
