I would be interested in what ever you manage to release. Don't give up!

Very cool idea! I like the concept :)

Thank you so much! I appreciate the kind words. The artists for the assets are in the itch description.

Great job! Definitely some major potential.

Very cool concept! I definitely think this is a great idea to expand on. Very cozy and looks great!

  1. I click play
  2. Unity logo and loading bar start showing
  3. Screen changes to dark gray (most likely something is loading unity wise in the player)
  4. Game doesn't load after the transition.

Browser: Firefox

The artwork is fabulous :) I really like your idea! Expand it after the jam and post your progress!

Great work! I really like the idea you have going here and the artwork is great :)

I love the artwork in this game! Great work :) What did you use to get that effect?

Great implementation of the theme! I had a bit of trouble getting the player to load, but other than that great work!

Thanks for playing! I would love to see your attempt at it in the future :)

Thanks for playing!

Can't wait to see the game grow!

Yup, couldn't agree more. We bit off a bit more than we could chew in terms of scope for this jam. I knew we were in trouble when we were discussing exp sharing and raid battles in the last stretch of the jam lol. Originally, we were going to have a goal of getting x strong heroes for a battle at the end, but we had to settle for no win condition and just focusing on fixing various issues. We also have the subquests and scriptable objects and they were randomly generated, so we had a difficulty cap because we just didn't make enough scriptable objects.

Thanks for playing! I would recommend matching the quest difficulty to their level. That is how to get them to not die constantly. But, there is always a risk of dying (percentage based) no matter what.

It happens! Glad you got it done :)

Love the artwork and humor! Great job :)

Very short game, but it is a cool idea! I had a weird collision bug when I spawned a ghost in a wall and it was stuck for a little while. Keep at it and I will gladly play it again.

I loved the voice acting :) Great work!

Sounds like a great next step!

I see :) Well great work!

Thanks so much! I am glad you liked it :) It was a real nail biter this jam when we were rushing to get everything working in the end.

Thanks! I used assets this time around due to not having the resources for artwork. You can check them out on the itch.io page.

I love the artwork and bloom effect! This game is great and I love the puzzle aspects of it.

Very cool idea! A tutorial would be a great next step for this game. I was unsure of what to do initially, but I am also a noob at minesweeper ;)

Very interesting idea and concept! The controls are a bit tough to get comfortable with, but other than that I enjoyed it!

Cool concept and artwork, but the font was really hard to read :(

Definitely a bit confusing at the beginning, but definitely one of the most unique games in this jam.

Great artwork!

Good idea, but I am a bit unsure of how it fits the theme. Great job regardless!

Great idea! Very similar to what we made :)

Great idea! This is the digital pet game I have played in this jam so far.

Seriously great job! I loved the idea of reversing roles to be the developer and not the actual player.

Great game :) Very polished and I love the concept. Keep improving on it!

Very cool concept :) I love the idea of a modified chess like game. Keep it up and refine it!

Very cool idea! I love the artwork and the music :)

Interesting idea! :) I think the randomness sometimes takes away from any solid strategies you may have, but overall great idea!

Cool concept, but I think the bullet should move much faster! I think in scenarios like enemy projectiles coming towards the player is an example where that would be beneficial. Sort of like a last minute, "quickly hit a wall so I can protect the player" kind of scenario.

This definitely fits the theme of roles reversed! Great job :)

Interesting concept. It was definitely a bit confusing at first due to how small the ui was, but overall great entry!
