Thanks for giving the game a try!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for the feedback! We actually implemented a fade in/out for the buzzing based on proximity of the bugs, but after balancing out the spawn rate it ended up that we always wanted bugs on the screen to maintain the pace of the game >_>.  In hindsight it probably would have been better to gradually fade it out once you notice the bugs spawning and maybe bring it back in at the end when the spawn rate dramatically increases.

Thanks for playing! There were a lot of firsts for us but it was a good learning experience.

Fun arcade style puzzle game! I think the sound and visuals mesh well together.

The game has a lot of character! I think it could use an effect or animation when you find the star so the transition to the next stage isn't so abrupt.

That was an amazing amount of graphics work to pack into the jam period! I was a little confused at first how the Q/E buttons were supposed to work. Overall I think it shows a lot of promise.

Very cute sokoban game! I didn't even realize there was a battery mechanic until I died the first time >_>

Super fun deck builder! Had a blast playing it. My only criticism is that the size of the disk/cards is so big when zoomed in that I didn't realize I could target enemies for a while.

Incredible amount of polish on a simple and well executed concept!

Very cool game! I also ended up using the fly to the ceiling and shoot down strategy >_>

Very unique game! I didn't realize at first you had to click on the button in the menu bar to capture creatures at first.

Thanks for the heads up! I don't think I've even seen a ZX Spectrum in person before, but I can see the resemblance o_0

Thanks for playing! This was the first time I tried making music so it was a huge learning experience.

Nice top down shooter. The pace works well in the first few waves, but I found myself feeling like I was spending a lot of time waiting for the next beat when the enemy count started to get high.

Thanks for trying it out! Its a little slow in the beginning, but when we increased the spawn rate it made it a little too difficult when bugs spawned on opposite sides of the room.

Very cool roguelike! Is there a way to force reload aside from emptying the clip?

Cute game, but super difficult! Maybe I don't have the right coordination for it, but I had some trouble using the up arrow as jump (I couldn't tell if it was dropping the input or I wasn't pressing it at the right time).

Thanks for playing! I think if we were to build it out further it might be good to try to stagger the upgrades into smaller increments to get to the first one faster.

Thanks for the feedback! We tried to focus on making a simple game to ensure we could finish on time. I think we spent about a week on the concept and core gameplay and spent the rest of the time on polish, bug fixing, and sneaking in minor features.

Really impressive for a Game Maker game! It looks like you were going for an isolated, eerie atmosphere, but the bright lights and neon colors made me wish for an exciting BGM track or some kind of flashy particle effect when the shots hit the enemy.

Very nice chill game! I had some trouble getting oriented in the first couple of waves but I think the pacing of the squares around wave 3 is where it starts to feel like you can get into a nice flow state.

Thank you for playing!

Thanks! It was even MORE annoying at first because we tried having the sound come from each bug o_0

It was the one where you make the letter L. I have been trying to reproduce it, but haven't been successful yet.

Very nicely done shmup!

Great game! I think the theme, music, and visuals were well integrated. I did run into a weird bug on the first level where I moved the tube and immediately bent the end on something, but other than that I thought it made for a  really great experience.

Thanks for giving it a try! We had set the spawn rate super high once for testing and thought it would be good to include that near the end to give the player a scare.

Interesting take on a puzzle game! Might be good to have a how-to-play explanation. Also mashed undo and ended up outside the game bounds o_0

Is there any way to tell where the platforms will be when you turn the lights off?

Very fun gameplay! Had an issues where the keyboard controls caused the page to scroll on the html5 version, but worked great after a page refresh!

Interesting twist on a rhythm game. With a "graze" mechanic it might be good to take a page out of shmup design and have an indicator for where the player's hittable area is. Also might be nice to have some kind of feedback for when a successful graze is done aside from just the points counter.

Thanks for playing our game!

Thanks for playing! The original version we made had the turrets as the first upgrade, but it made the lights feel too inconsequential. We definitely have a huge list of ideas we brainstormed that didn't make it into the game jam timeframe.

Nice puzzle game with solid mechanics! I think the difficulty progression works well. I did get a little confused on the first couple of levels since my eyes were drawn to the goal and I mistook it for the player controlled object. I would love a way to go back and replay select levels to get all 3 orbs.

Nice retro platformer! The music fits great with the overall look and feel. Accidentally walked into the blue laser a couple of times though because it blended in a little too well.

Thanks for giving it a try!  We had a lot of fun trying to balance out the rate of bug spawning (especially at the end once the beacon goes off).
