I'm currently in the process of porting it over to PC and have definitely found some issues I have no idea how they worked when testing haha. Thanks for the bug spot, I'll try fix it for the GBA version when I can. I was testing on mGBA on pc, but maybe those issues I found are treated much worse on the different OS

Thats a good call. I'll have to wait till after jam judging to fix. Thanks for the feedback

oh that was me. I did art, code and music for this one

I cant quite remember, but a little over a week? But that's round kids and work, so its hard to measure.

I won! Fire early on really paid off haha. Well done, pretty sweet mechanic to work with :D

Loved the visuals and music! Hard gameplay, reminds me of Space Harrier which I love. Was unsure of theme connection until I scrolled and read mode 7, clever but a bit niche

Pretty funny. I only landed 150k, but my brother beat me by miles with 1.7mil as AJC which he said he found it relaxing

Like the visuals on this game!

Pretty funny but quite difficult! Would prefer each dance move also be mapped to a single button each and maybe bouncers a bit easier to spot. You notice them once you get used to the game, but from the onset its pretty tricky. Me and my bro played, highest scorer 13

Some drinks with me and my brother and we were engaged with this for ages. For people who play games inverted this took awhile, but changing to robot from the get go and using mouse and keyboard mostly worked out. So hard this game, but it was a lot of fun. We cleared the first 2 levels, but immediately failed the train one. I guess we needed to not fall behind or something which robot mode didn't help with. Visually so good, massive nostalgia. Well done

Thanks for playing :D, glad you enjoyed it

Thanks for playing. I want to do a few small updates post jam wrap up and pickups are a good one to fix.

Thanks for playing. Hmm, must be something to do with either how the camera moves, how many things are on screen or the colour palette I've chosen. Or all of them working together hmmm

Very respectable score, you've beaten my best by 5. Thanks for playing!

Super cute and the exact reference I needed for a new project

Can you remember when the kernel panic happened? I haven't had that issue when testing

Oh I haven't had that crash. Can you remember where it happened?

I had more fun playing this then I thought I would (usually a action game player, less on strat or puzzle). Hooked by the end of it. Won at 230 days. Well done!

Very cute, feels about right for gameboy feel too

This game was awesome, well done!

Very cool game. Wish I had better hand precision for it haha. Well done

Very gameboy-ey, loved it!

Wish this got further, I love the art style of it

Oh I missed that. Re-rated it up

Loved the gameplay! Great sound track too. Only gripe is the 4 colours thing as it changes per level

Hey,

Matt here and I've finally pushed out a tech demo for the 2D multiplayer Unity Template I've been building.

Hack n Slash people online or fight the monsters on the map:

Play online free here: https://wanderinghobo.itch.io/cyborg-til-you-dieborg-online

Have fun slaying

At that point attack the alter the priest is praying too. Destroy that sucker haha. Glad you enjoyed i

I should have made that clear, sorry. Try attacking the dark patches on the ground  on the edges of the screen, those are door

Shuriken for the win!

You killed it, well done!

You killed it, well done!

This felt very true to Gameboy aesthetics. Wish I had more patience for the first boss, would have been good to see the rest of the levels

Thats a good list of things to sort out post jam verdict made. Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it! Lots of features I wish I had time for or tighten. Future Me's problem haha

Thanks for the honesty. I was trying to kill 2 birds with 1 stone so I could enter GBCompo21 as well. It was a lot to learn and do in the short time though and I'm a post jam ghost now haha. If I keep to this project later I'll factor in your feedback :D

I watched a few of my mates play and get stuck in the first room, so I'll make it more clear after jam ends. Thanks for the feedback!

Interesting visuals and game played well, maybe levelled up way too quick and made the game too easy haha. Good job!

Elegant puzzle design. Some gave me that HECK YEAH moment you gotta play puzzle games for

As long as the lighting/shadows doesn't push the overall colours on screen over 4 colours you should be right

This is so much content in a week! Well done!

Really good fit for the jam!
