Every death has a unique animation, so part of the appeal is to see them all. :) The first chapter features 13 unique deaths and future chapters has 51 and counting...
Despite containing many ways to die, they are easy to avoid once you know the trigger. Most of the challenge is in solving the puzzles. Hope you enjoy. :)

Hey, I hope you guys can check out my game Grid of Yendor. It's a minimalistic roguelike set on a spreadsheet where typing is your attack, and the characters you type are your health. With procedural level generation but deterministic combat, you always know the fight you're getting into, but each level remains a mystery before you explore it.

Well, I just made a large update to my game Human Upgrade Labs, so this seems like a pretty good place to share that.
In this game you will be playing a role of a fool, I'm sorry, a volunteer who signed up to participate in the tests going on in the Human Upgrade Labs in the far future Earth. Fracture is a VN/Mystery/Room Escape game with a narrative heavy plot. Six people end up kidnapped in an abandoned hospital, one which was met with tragedy 24 years prior to the kidnapping. In 1985, a fire takes the life of a young girl who was visiting her sick mother in this very hospital. 24 years later, 6 people find themselves trapped in this hospital, 2 of whom are the little girl's sister and mother. In this demo, you mainly play as protagonist Nick, who was present on the day of the fire, and even ended up saving someone's life.....
Contains Room Escape puzzles, engaging character driven dialogue and a plot you can get lost in, I mean....really lost in. Because...
Who builds a hospital on a ley line, anyway?
I recently added new music, new art and gave the titles an overhaul. It's been in development for 3 years now and I'm working on Chapter 4 (of 6) so am hoping to have the full game out by the end of Dec 2024.
In the meantime, I'd love to gather a bit more interest in the project leading up to that date. If you like games like Zero Escape (Those games are a huge influence) then you'll like this.

Project X- Hero Chronicles
Project X is an action-adventure visual novel about the fate of the world resting on your shoulders with three potential routes.
