Nice mood, I like the animations, even the trees have some. The sounds and the music are good and the controls are responsive. Good job!
Really nice game! Great atmosphere and had fun playing it, good use of the day night cycle too :)
Some sort of explanation would be great, I kept dying of hunger but it's a nice game with a tutorial would be great.
Thank you for playing! Yes, a tutorial and some way of understanding the UI and feedback for health and hunger would have been great! :)
You've made a really cool game! It was fun to play!
I love the music that you choose.
Thanks for playing! It was Kevin Macleod, can never go wrong with his music! Glad you liked it :)
Really liked the game, even tho I wasn't sure what the goal of the game was. I just ended up walking around and winning by mistake :P
I'm not a fan of handholding, but having a little bit of a tutorial would have been good in my opinion. Except for that, loved the pixel art, the animation and the sound effects!
Thanks for playing! Yeah it was just surviving a couple of days, nothing more ambitious than that heh! I would have loved to make some tutorial elements and introduce gameplay, but alas... time!
Time is always the issue :O Give me less time, I can't implement everything, give me infinite time, I never get started :P
I couldn't figure out how to light the campfire or how any of the systems worked, but you did a great job on the look and feel.
Thanks for giving it a go! It's unfortunately pretty bad at explaining itself, but glad you liked how it looked! :)
Yep, tutorials are boring to make, but so helpful!
I hope you'll take a minute to check out my game, rate it, and leave some feedback! Thanks!
Interesting game! Good controls and graphics represent well the autumn theme. But I ran into a bug when wolves attack. Even though the character was killed the wolves keep attacking.
Overall, it is a good game
Thanks for playing! Yeah the bug really annoys me, too late to fix though! Glad you liked it otherwise! :)
I honestly don't have much experience with survival games, but I enjoyed what you've put together. It took me a bit to realize, in my haste of running around, that eating certain things would hurt me. As others have mentioned, the death mechanic was a little buggy for me. Good work!
Thanks for playing! Hah, yes, don't eat the red mushrooms! The death bug was unfortunate but that's on me! :)
I'm just so bad at this game...
Maybe it's just me, but I'm not a fan of the mouse control: you see the arrow around your character but don't see the mouse cursor, without it I'm swinging the wrong way more often than not.
That said, the atmosphere, the environments and characters are great, controls feel responsive and day/night mechanic is meaningful. A great llittle survival game.
Thanks for playing! I'm used to the controls so it might be hard for me to judge. If you have a gamepad, that might be easier! :)
Very nice graphics, great atmosphere, fine choice of music. Somber and autumnlike.
I think there is something wrong with the fail states. My Hunger meter ran out, the game didn't end. Similarly, when the wolves brought my Health meter to 0, I was paralyzed, but the game didn't end. The wolves just kept eating me alive, forever.
Thanks for playing! Unfortunate with the death bug, it was a simple fix as well... the hunger meter is intentional though, you start to lose health when your hunger is depleted! :)
Got it! Thanks. :)
