There were cute mice, the environment was especially well crafted and the music was appropriately intense! However, it was really tough trying to sell rocks during the fights as they were difficult to grab and I would sometimes get stuck on the tents and destroyed. Overall, great job!

Absolutely amazing game here! Everything really came together to create a full experience : ) Loved the ambiance of the campsite, and the style of the low poly models had so much character, especially the models like the frog weapon. Also the music slaps!! it made the boss fights feel intense and a lot of fun. You should be super proud about programming those boss fight patterns each felt really unique. Awesome job one of our favorite games of the jam!
Wow that was so so so very slick and well made!!! The art is so clear and easy to read and has so much style! The gameplay was so much fun, the beats you had to hit were not repetitive at all and kept me on my toes, each hit felt great!! The music was very catchy too, if you do end up adding more bosses someday we will definitely come back and play! Absolutely awesome job!! : ))))
Really clean and great looking art assets, the ui is so well made! Those animations too during combat came out so nicely as well, makes it a lot of fun to watch the combat encounters play out. The game plays really well too, not a glitch in sight on our play through. Great job making such a nicely polished game :)
Really awesome job, it felt like a full game experience! It was great that you got to pick your pilot and how it changed your mech color and initial weapon, made you feel more attached to your mech since you picked the pilot yourself :) It was fun too being able to try out different weapons so it made each level play slightly differently based on what weapon you had. The boss fights were fun, the bullet spray pattern of the last boss made it feel like a pretty intense fight which was a good end to the game. Art was really well done as well! Overall a great game, good job! :D
Thank you for your comments about the artwork! :))))) Thanks for the feedback too, definitely realized after other people played the difficulty was a bit too hard and the animations hard to focus on with the buttons for the notes being all the way to the left😅 Possibly next time we ever make a rhythm game we'll put the buttons on the bottom in the center of the screen and that may make it a bit easier to see the animations! Thank you so much again for your comments and for playing, we all appreciate it! :D
Thank you! It was a lot of long days of animating and coloring between the two of us, it felt like working in an anime studio!
Thank you for your feedback too! I definitely wanted everyone to see all the animations we worked so hard on so I'm glad you appreciated the no fail state. I (the programmer) realized a bit too late that I had made the stages too hard >.> I play a lot of rythmn games and when I played this game while making it I was afraid it was too easy, but then found out everyone of our friends who played it said it was too hard. I'll definitely keep it in mind to have more beta testers while making beatmaps and not just when the game is finished. Thank you again for your nice comments and for playing it! :))
Thank you so much, especially for the comparison to Trigger! (Programmer here) You are right that sometimes the timing/rhythm is off, I noticed it happened sometimes if levels loaded slightly too slowly the notes would start scrolling at a slightly wrong tempo/not at the same start time as the music. It seemed random when it was happening so I couldn't pinpoint a fix for it before the jam ended. Thank you for playing it even with that issue though :)
Really well crafted game! From the cutscene to the gameplay you could tell you put a lot of care into it. It was relaxing to go around cleaning things up and petting the animals. Even if it's not necessary to complete the game, cleaning up some of the green trails left behind too was fun! The green trails that the infected animals leave behind was a great choice gameplay wise, I never got frustrated when I was looking for infected animals because I knew I just had to look for green on the ground. Had such a good time playing that I couldn't stop until I completed each area :) Great job!
