I didn't know it was even possible to play twister on my keyboard, what a cool game idea! I think this works better than fruit twist as a dexterity type game because of how clear your inputs are and how simple and straightforward the control requirements are. Everything here just really really works for me, especially the sound bytes for hold and tap, they make the game even more fun and easy to play. Really great work and a very addictive game!
Thanks for the feedback, MegaMelone :) It is actually interesting how people reacted to both games. Your point is certainly one to have in mind. I will keep working on the Fruit Twist so it can at least reach the same level as Twistling.
Twister on your keyboard! Really neat idea! It was really interesting to play a game where getting better involves coming up with new strategies to interact with the controller. I won when I realized I could pick up my mouse :D
Ghosting definitely affected a couple of my attempts. I wonder if there's a way to innovate on this idea with fewer buttons (e.g., only using the quadrants of the keyboard + mouse). Something to think about!
Hi gabemcarvalho! Glad that you enjoyed the game :) It is actually funny to see how different people the "mouse puzzle" xD
Ghosting is a big deal for this game, you are fully right... We tried to solve it in a similar game that we did for this jam but it turned out to not be as fun as this one. Thanks for the feedback!
Accounting for localisation might be tricky in your engine, but some buttons are in different spaces than you migth expect from the english layout. (On hungarian Y and Z are swapped in places so it was difficult to wrap my head around that not being a ghosting but a localisation issue).
Sometimes input did not register at all after multiple presses, I assume that was the ghosting issue you talked about!
The game is really fun, if you can fix those issues, it would be even more awesomer!
I really like your idea of Twister on the Keyboard!
One Problem i encountert is with the QWERTZ keyboard layout. Y and Z are swapped.
And i would love to have more of a challenge. Like variable amount of presses needed and one press too much results in moving near death or something like that :D
Thanks for the nice feedback! Working already in a fix for the keyboard layout, totally missed that one.
Thanks for the suggestion about new mechanics also. We are actually working on a sequel of this tiny game, where we use the same concept but with different mechanics :) so stay tuned and hopefully soon we can submit a new game that you can also try!
Thank you for playing!! The mouse is actually planned as a final challenge, it always pops up when the player manage to complete a certain amount of keys. As a exchange, the reward is supposed to be also much higher.
I hope you still enjoyed the game despite the challenge :)

Glad you enjoyed it despite this problem :)
Never played a game like this. I wasn't very good, but I had fun
Real fun! Would love additional actions other than hold and press for variety/difficulty
