Fantastic Idea and even better execution! You got skillz for a simp...athy  :P

A fun idea!  I found the controls a little too "twitchy".  I think it would be fun if the the environment were more complex, and if you could trigger chain reactions with skillful play, say if you could make stacks of stuff fall on the robots if you hit them right... and had gravity the right way at the time...

Really fun game, very cool mechanics!

The indicator to show the gravity's direction is very unique and well done. The difficulty can be reduced a little bit tho.

With more polish i can see this being a good Mobile game!

Thanks for playing! Yeah I am actually thinking about making it a mobile game, that was not my intention initially but I have gotten that comment a lot and I can see it now haha. Thank you for the note about difficulty! It is always hard to tell your own game difficulty without feedback :)

I thought the game had a really interesting mechanic that paired super well with the theme as well. It was interesting trying to line up all of my shots and felt like a tower defense style game without towers. Here are the main things I noticed.

  • I loved the limitation of not being able to spam the cargo disposal. I thought it helped to balance the gameplay nicely and put a sense of urgency to not loosing any of the cargo.
  • The music and assets were both super nice and I liked them a lot
  • I thought that the gravity having two options to toggle it was really nice.

Cool game, I read the description before playing the game and in my head was thinking "how the hell are they gonna pull this off" but you nailed it. Super fun game, I love the old school vibe. Really nice, best one I've played so far from the jam!

This game is cool however in my opinion the gravity "switching" mechanic doesn't seem like switching if you know what I mean. the music was nice and gameplay was nice but the enemies did seem to grow in number quite quickly

this is a pretty fun concept, tho I did kind of get overwhelmed quickly, I think this could definetly be a fun game, maybe on mobile phones?

Thanks for playing! I do think the concept would play well in mobile because the direction you tilt the phone could change the gravity now that I think about it. I probably could create a difficulty setting as well if I continue this project - Maybe something that makes enemies slower or makes them spawn less frequently in the waves.

that seems like a good idea
