I guess I understand why dodos went extinct now.   Great game!  The rocket launcher made me laugh so hard when I first used it.

I couldn't get past the rocket launcher unfortunetly. I like the art and sound effects really much. Good job!

I could'nt get past the light sabre. the pixel art was very clean. i wonder why the dodos and mamoths hated him. It was self defence.

Ha, so that's how civilization advanced! And how dodos went extinct...
I like the pixel art& colors, it was a bit tricky to avoid so many enemies in later stages. Cool game!

The game stablishes a clear loop from the beginning, which is an invitation to wonder what will be the next tech you get. Also, stages are not too long so it doesn't get tedious.

Aesthetically, I feel the color palette elicits peacefulness, even if you are constantly killing. So the chill vibe of murder helps the player to stay more without feeling too violent.

In terms of balance, I think nature is noticeably more powerful than the protagonists, so after a while it gets overwhelming (even if you are using a rifle against unarmed creatures). It might help to make the weapons more powerful or add some mechanic that helps dodge creatures (dash/jump/shield).

The UFO leit motif is surprising the first time you hear it. Even without seen the UFO, the game is already telling "yep, ALIENS" which stablishes complicity with the viewer.

Pretty fun/funny concept! It was a little stressful how slow some of the weapons are and how defenseless you feel... Maybe some attack knockback would be nice. I like the sprites.

The grand background music feels the weight of the breadwinner to make dinner.

I was hoping to get my hands on that Fat Man.

Omg you get a gun. Automatic +1 for that.

I love the art style, the colors are well picked and the theme is also very interesting. I agree with Koligma, a jumping mechanic or some way to avoid the enemy's attacks like a dodge would be nice since they come towards you from both sides. At some point their attacks feel pretty challenging to avoid, but maybe that's intentional. Overall, great little game!

Actually, you can dodge enemy attacks. Thanks for the good comment by the way!

The game seems a little bit hard because the hitboxes aren't entirely clear, particularly the club, but also most of the enemy swings. Fun little game. Definitely worth checking out!

I love the art/colors and presentation as well as the assortment of weapons! I found myself slightly wishing the character could jump, but maybe that would have made the game too easy. Nicely done!

Heyy! You re completely right about jumping idea. Thanks for playing and precious comment!
