Really good atmosphere, I enjoyed the puzzles once I got the hang of it but got stuck at the rules of three section, I looked at the hints but it didn’t help too much.

Honestly really good work though, I think if you’re going forward all of the hints have to be baked into the game experience, defo needs enter to submit as well.

I think starting off with a few much easier puzzles to make the player understand they are playing through escape room style puzzles that don’t rely on the actual information on screen would be good too, I spent a lot of time reading carefully and constructing my answers around the text rather than looking past the text and finding the answer between the lines.

Really good work on the presentation though!

Thanks for the play and advice. I'm also thinking about putting the hint itself into the game, but I'm wondering when to put it in...!

I'll refer to it for the next series production. Thank you again👍

I'm too dumb, Hint.zip does not help T_T

Love the style though.

Thank you for playing!

I've posted additional hints to the community. If you have any additional questions about the problem, please feel free to leave any questions!

"start", [next screen], "start", "end record", "water", "not yet", "next", [Open Hint.zip, no real instructions], "cold water", "browse", "exit". [exit]

Sorry :/

Also, as someone who uses the terminal often, I find it annoying that I have to use the mouse to submit the commands.

Developer

Apologies for making the problem somewhat difficult to revitalize the community. I've posted additional hints to the community about the sections where other players are frequently stuck. If you have any additional questions about the problem, please feel free to leave any questions! I'll try to let you know as much as I can.

I need to set it up so that it can be input even if I press Enter for the next update. Thanks for the advice.

Sadly I had no idea what to do. Start in the first one, and I got stuck in the second screen. I tried putting numbers, words, but nothing aside the End record game me something. I liked visuals and audio. I also would recommend that text input accepts the Intro button instead of doing it with the mouse.

And thanks for the advice! It would definitely be better if I could play it with input from the keyboard.

I played for a while and couldn't go beyond the second screen without clues. In general the game is pretty good but i think it does a poor job at clueing the answer to the player. My initial idea would be includding several puzzles per screen so if the player can't understand one it could still try and solve another instead of getting stuck but that's just a random idea

Developer(+1)

I think I didn't have enough access to hints. You can refer to the Hint.zip file I put up separately, or you can refer to my answers to someone else's questions to solve the problem.

Btw, Thank you for playing!

Nice game!

I didn't make it extremely far into it, but i really like the aesthetic!

Developer

I also focused on whether I could create a scary atmosphere with a minimal graphic asset (as a developer, not a designer🤗).

If there are any difficult problems due to the nature of the genre, please leave a question!

The hard drive sound brings back some long-forgotten memories...

I managed to finish the game but I had to cheat at level 5, apparently I am not so good at math. I wouldn't be able to finish the game without hints too.  Nonetheless I think that going through some password-protected zip files adds to the atmosphere :)

Developer

It's not cheating to look at hints lol. I also look at other people's questions whenever I'm stuck in a puzzle like this.

Btw, thank you for playing until the end!

Submitted(+1)

No, no... I looked at almost all the hints AND cheated :D

I don't know if it's the vibe you were going for, but I do like the eerie type of vibe. It was also quite interesting the way the game starts.

Developer(+1)

I put a lot of effort into creating a scary atmosphere with a little asset. Thank you for liking it!

Only for hardcore puzzle lovers. irritated the hell out of me, because it made me feel stupid.

Developer

Thank you for your opinion. It's an experimental genre that mixes puzzles.

If you're stuck or need help, feel free to leave a topic! I'll give you as many hints as I can (or someone who solved the problem!).

Nice style and has a good atmosphere - it's great at setting the mood of the game.

Like others, I'm finding it very difficult to know what to do and I'd say it's a little too cryptic right from the very start. I'd suggest making it easier to start and progressively ramp up the difficulty.

Even with the hints.zip - I feel like I still need more clues... Great job none the less, really well presented.

Developer

Since it is a game created on the premise of revitalizing the questioning community, the problem can be difficult. I didn't think about making it gradually difficult in terms of game design while experimenting with various things.

Thank you for your good opinion, I'll refer to it in the next series.

Interesting style!

Really difficult (still stuck on the “you drink water” screen), but an overall good game.

Certainly liked the vibes from it.

Developer

This game was created on the premise of internet service. You may need to search on wiki!

(You're almost done, and I think that part is the hardest)

Submitted

Couldn’t figure it out after searching, so ended up using a brute-force ZIP extractor to find the password to the next hint, and used it as the answer lol

I'm not the biggest fan of these types of puzzles but I like your styling.

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you for your interest! If you only want to enjoy the atmosphere, you can see the ending faster with a direct hint within Hint.zip.

The puzzles are really really difficult. If that was your goal, you succeeded. The style is great, and I love the quick glitch animations, it makes it feel like you are really on an old puzzle machine

Developer

Thank you for your first comment! If you have a problem with solving, you can quickly enjoy the ending through the Hint.zip file.

you added puzzles even to hints and your hints are not that good imho. Couldn't enjoy it
