Nice job! I really dug the mysterious atmosphere with this one. I liked most of the puzzles, although the one involving the semaphore gave me a lot of trouble. I don't think I could have finished that part without a guide; I didn't even realize there was a man standing on the boat or that I needed to move the beacon in the direction of the bell sounds. It was hard to figure out what things were clickable, so I ended up just trying to click everywhere on each screen. The disks also, it wasn't obvious to me that they were supposed to go from brightest to darkest top left to bottom right, and a couple plates in the middle looked identical in color.

I feel like the mostly grayscale color scheme was probably to enhance the mood, but I think maybe a bit of variety with the color here and there would have helped identifying things that were important for the player to look at (like maybe the man's flags were colored red or something).

That angry seagull made me laugh for some reason, I think because it was happy looking but then mad when you click on it :)

Great atmosphere, simple but gives a great eerie vibe. I couldn't get far I'm afraid... But mainly because I'm trying to give as many jam games a go as I can so not really giving it enough time ;)

I got a bit into it, but eventually came to the conclusion that I had to do the safe, the problem was I had no idea how to do the combination puzzle with what was given on the observation floor. But amazing game! I love the art and the sound design was pretty nice. I would say the movement of the character at the very beginning was a bit off, and holding all the discs was a tad annoying. Besides that, I am not sure what to say in terms of improvements, overall, just a great game and was just a bit too difficult for me lol.

Very cool game. I loved the aesthetics - going black and white was an excellent choice.
I was a bit lost with some of the puzzles, so I would have appreciated a bit more feedback than just a grunt ;-), but they were fun nonetheless. The fact that I got my training session in by walking the stairs a lot more often than it would have been necessary can be considered a bonus (or the righteous punishment for lack of thought ^^)
Now I want to know what excactly happened and why... Glad to read you will flesh out the story a bit.

This game is soooooo much fun. I mean, a game in a spooky mysterious lighthouse was always going to grab me, but yeah, this is really good. Lovely art and puzzles. Thanks for the game!

It’s very atmospheric and creepy. I wish I could figure out what to do :( I’m not very good at escape games and probably missed something.

Developer(+1)

We have uploaded a guide to help so you can make progress through the game anyway. Don't worry, we won't tell anyone ;-) Thanks for the comment!

Thanks! I won’t tell anyone, either.

Really nice atmosphere.
Creepy how nobody else was around!

Really good polished and clean scape room game! Great job! I got stuck on the 4 digit code. Love the atmosphere.

Give me the mood! There's plenty. A bit of Scratches and some Rusty Lake here with a very polished-cool minimalistic design. Maybe it's getting too puzzly too fast with not much of a narrative going; but there's a mystery there, and you have to get deep to uncover. Very stylish game with great atmosphere, and there are smooth triangle waves to meditate on.

Thank you for playing and for the feedback, we are working on an update to add the things we wanted in but ran out of time to do.  Safe to say the narrative within the game will be fleshed out and a multiple ending finish will be in place.

The atmosphere is fantastic, accompanied by delightful music, and the puzzles provide a truly enjoyable experience!

Thank you for playing and the very kind words.

I really loved the atmosphere and the way music underlines your actions. I also like seeing you experiment with different kinds of gameplay, with respect to your last jam games

Developer

Thanks for playing, I know how busy you are with your upcoming release.  I thought by going first person it would be less work, I was wrong!

Loved Jonathan the Seagull, lightened things a bit but didn't spoil the atmosphere of mystery. Really engaging puzzles, I enjoyed the semaphore!

Developer

Thank you for playing and the kind words. Jonathan was added in the last days, he was a product of lack of sleep and to much caffeine, but he turned out nice.

Great atmosphere and music. It reminded me of Rusty Lake. I know I'm not the first one to say that. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish the game even with a walkthrough. I have a rusty thing missing from the generator somewhere. Perhaps there is such a bug that when the inventory is full, things can disappear (?). Anyway, it was interesting to play.

Developer

Thank you for playing and for the feedback.  Sorry to hear about the rusty spark plug disappearing, I will check it out to see if i can reproduce it.

I don't think I would've been able to make it through without the walkthrough. I do wish there was more story to the game, since by the end of it, you're wondering what happened, but then you just leave instead of finding out. Other than that, it was really well made, and I couldn't find any issues with it.

Loved your game, the atmosphere of it is just perfect. The music and sound design choices are so good that perfectly fit the scene, I especially love the menu sound that plays when choosing between begin and leave There are some really good puzzle elements in this, overall a really solid game.

Thanks for the message, and for playing our game. I was in charge of audio, so I really appreciate your words. I had a lot of fun implementing different sounds, and the after-jam version will have a few more tweaks I have already developed so stay tuned!

awasome

It was pretty darn tough, but really satisfying to figure it all out. And then after that I saw you'd included a walkthrough 😅

Developer

Thanks for playing  Steven, I'm really pleased you enjoyed it and that you got through it without the walkthrough.

It seems a rusty lake game, i'm guessing that your next game will be on mobile?

Anyway i liked a lot, good challenging puzzle and a good atmosphere

Developer(+1)

I felt a bit lost with the box code, but the rest of the puzzles were nice and challenging. Very good sound design. And Jonathan.

Developer(+2)

Thanks for the comment. Audio effects, ambience and music were composed and created specially for this jam. I also managed to get into the game engine to implement the audio, and that allowed us to give it an additional twist to the design.
