a teal flash when picking up the teal capsule things (Shield pickups?) would be nice, maybe a SFX too.
itd be cool if holding down shift would take a sec then transform you to unable to strafe but move much faster tank tread / road wheels mode, where A/S turns in left/right instead of strafe, and your mouse is full independant turrent control, then let go of shift and it slows down in a sec then returns to walk mode, I feel like that would add to the tactical nuance and allow faster travel
-Guns need bullet-drop/range-limits. From spawn I can use zoom and just snipe the competition a map away. I was also able to shoot from a standstill in partial cover(a corner) into a nearby enemy without getting hit myself. Probably due to them aiming center of mass while my guns are on the right/left.
-Partially destructive environment is fun, wish it could also mess up the buildings.
-A bit weird how I know all the enemy locations from the start. Would make more sense if I had to see them before they show up, or instead have a radar on the HUD or something. Regardless, it currently makes the screen a bit messy since it also includes dozens of white boxes for civies.
Mech feels a little weak since you don't have many options to avoid the turret fire - maybe just some more shield pickups in the open areas to enable you to run at them instead of feeling like you need to take cover. But the walking and guns both feel nice, good start
i personally prefer when mechs have more mobility, like in hawken or armored core, jumping, dashing etc, but if you are going more for a weighty mechwarrior feel that's understandable
was able to destroy all turrets and objectives, and extract on my second run
so far so good, experienced no issues and had no bugs of any kind. everything was smooth.
it felt a bit off needing to take cover as a mech since those turrets really hurt otherwise - i expect mechs to want to be in the open blasting things.
either way, fun stuff. eager to see where you'll take this
YES! MECH GAME! Early days yet, so not much to comment on. Controls work great, works good on Linux with Proton 7. Nice and simple, doesn't need a tutorial for now you can just jump right in.
You really have to plan your movement out when running for those shield pickups, the towers shred you fast and I didn't see a jump or sprint/boost so they hit you with every shot.

Good start, keep it up.

Slow mech but like what you have so far! This could be a great game
now this is my jam.

Great mech feeling!
When you make multiple small steps it fails to make one
I think you need to make the mech more delayed it that case and return both legs on the ground
