Great work! I love the design of the dinosaur and the sounds of the game. I feel like hunger drained a little fast and there weren't many things to do with your dino. It would have been nice to maybe at least have a ball or something to toss down and have the dino go to it. But for what it is, it is a cool simulator and a great idea!

Thank you for playing our game, glad you liked the intro ;)
Some of the style of the game page (including the dino at the bottom) was done with custom CSS. More info about this here: https://itch.io/docs/creators/css-guide
Very nice game, makes me remember tamagotchi from my childhood that I used to play. Graphic, music, story and gameplay every thing is great, very polished, but will be better if at least give a goal to time limit so the dinosaur can grow up and get bigger.
Sound effect when you pet the dinosaur is a little bit too loud and shock me for the first time. I especially love the big giant.. turd lol. So many potential to expand. I like both ending, the hungry one make me sad, but the cry one make me laugh.
Very cute! ā¤ I feel bad for the little dino (Geraldine, in my game). Nice touch to let the player name it. Just wish there was more to do, but I read in the game's description that you had scope creep, so I totally understand that

Thanks for playing! Yeah, I think a lot of resources were used on developing ideas. Which unfortunately meant a day 3 complete redesign of our game, so we probably only spent 3-4 days on this version of the game. If we had another week, I think we could have made something a lot more engaging.
Our first idea was to have an automated puzzle type game, where the mechanic was about using the world around the creature to encourage it to find its way through different challenges. So a god-type game where you, the player, don't control the character, similar to what we have here, but more puzzle and less sim. However, we all had very different definitions of how to go about the design for that game. Until we collectively agreed that a pet sim might be the best route to go for this jam.

Looks adorable! I only wish there was more things to do to spend more time with the Dino
