a cute lil rat mutilation deathmatch game <3

This game was made by some absolute sickos and I'm all about it. This is the most out of the box interpretation of the theme I've seen yet. Starting this game up just to completely delimb my rat then send him out to get pummeled made me think it was some sort of rat torture simulator or something, but when I started buying robot rat parts and playing Frankenstein I realized I was actually playing rat Armored Core. That's when it clicked for me and I started really grinding it out. That like disgusting funky ass workshop theme is burned into my skull now and really does a great job of setting the tone. Overall I had a lot of fun and think yall did a good job! I think that some more polish to the fighting side of things and making it a bit more interactive could really elevate this project. Maybe you could cheer on your rat, or throw him little treats, maybe boo the opposing rat? Maybe you could do like nascar-ass quick pitstops replacing parts mid fight but leaving him vulnerable during the process? Or potentially it could go the full fighting game route and let you just control the rat yourself? A lot of potential here for sure, great work!

My favorite part is that the rocket launchers work even if you leave them on the shelves- they fire from offscreen. I filled my whole shelves with rocket launchers for a good time 😆

Controls weren't very clear tho. Took me a while to figure out.

I think I downloaded the wrong Pokemon. Jokes aside this is hilarious and weird. Could definitely have used some kind of instructions because it took me 3 minutes of clicking around and removing body parts to figure what was happening. The "mod with modes" didn't land for me but this was a weird prompt and you made something interesting with lots of mechanics so great job there!

Very unique game concept and music. Visuals are fitting and fighting is interesting to watch. In my opinion the controls feel a bit clunky though. Overall really interesting project, well done!

I'm gonna be honest, the moment I started this game I accidentally cut off all my rat's limbs and had to buy him replacements for some ratcoin. That aside, this is possibly the greatest gaming experience ever and I'm truly grateful to you for making this game.

I LOVE RAT DARK MARKET FIGHT CLUB!!!!! for real though this game is a lot of fun, love the aesthetic as well. it's very thrilling seeing my rat mutilate the others in combat.

This game is perfect. There is rat surgery, rat murder, rat mutilation, mods.

The gameplay is mysterious at first, but simple and easy to get the hang of. This is on point for the crowd of the jam.

This was by far the most entertained I've been by an entry. I feel disgusting after playing it. The music and art style is perfect. My first time around, I accidentally removed everything except one leg, and my nugget rat immediately died :/ 10/10

This is the most insane game of the jam. The concept is absurd and gross, yet it's strangely addicting tearing apart my rat to kit him up with the best limbs and organs before throwing him into completely illegal rat combat.

This is great, I played it for way too long. I was going to rate some other games, but now I ran out of time playing. Best music I've heard so far, like .. flaccid breaksbeats.

Really had fun with this one! Weirdly reminds me of playing beyblades as a kid !
