the visuals are beauuuutiful. and the game is so much fun. i did have an issue where the top and bottom of the screen were a bit cut off but that didnt stop me seeing all the stages. really damn fun, i would play a full game of this to the end.

Took me a couple tries to get the vine navigation down, but really impressed with how much not being able to jump at all makes you think of how to navigate through a screen. Had to restart a couple screens solely because one block would break but the adjacent one didn't, with the adjacent block needing to be the one broken for me to be able to backtrack if necessary. It definitely adds to the difficulty of some screens, having to really plan ahead for how to complete it, but the fact that what you're looking at is all you have to work with makes it much less painful than it would if this were a game with multi-screen puzzles.

The visual design is very clean, I'm never left guessing what I'm looking at. The audio is fun, it's clear what's happening with each cue and the song fits the aesthetic perfectly.

All around a good game!

The palette is really beautiful. It captures the aesthetic perfectly. I have been asking myself if I was playing a retail old school Gameboy game. Would love to play this on my Gameboy.

Awesome visuals and sounds, hitboxes are wack in some places but really that's about it.

This game is super cute and really well made. Great artwork, great animations, great presentation all around. My biggest complaint is that the hitboxes are a bit large and thus give very little wiggle room. Some mechanics aren't explained outright either, but the level design does teach them well. Good job guys!

This game is super rad. Very good conveyance of mechanics with how the blocks looks. Without any text I was able to fully grasp function of each special block. Overall, the presentation is top notch. Clearly you guys are real pros!

Perfectly put-together package. Loved discovering the different blocks and mechanics the game had to offer. Difficulty was good throughout. Great stuff.

Incredible. Loved every second of it.
Genuinely felt like a Gameboy Color title.
Great animations, art style was top-notch.
Favourite parts were the music and gameplay.

(Nice donkey kong land + pokemon gold/silver vibes)

Favourite song was the 3rd round music, I think.

Would pay for this game if there was even more to offer.

Few notes/Suggestions
The 4th rounds music might be a little toooo similar to Donkey Kong Lands cover of Aquatic Ambience.
Maybe add a tutorial level?
Animated tiles?
Boss fights?

Scrolling levels?

In general, would love to see more!

Great work.
