How does your game represent "Power"?
The player character needs to get more powerful to overcome obstacles and climb high to reach the end of each level. There is a literal "Power" meter that fills when you collect protein shakes and the end goal is for Cliff to retrieve all his golden dumbbells - y'know, a thing that when used increases a person's power.

Came for the cutscene, stayed for the GIRP-esque controls. Will our hero get all his golden dumbbells back? Not if I'm in control, although I felt myself improving the more I played, and it was easy to pick up and play despite the novel control scheme - great job!

Super cool! Cutscenes? In this timeframe? Very well done, even if the audio was a bit de-synced on those cutscene. It's challenging for sure, and the smooth animations were funny as well in the context of the art. Well done!

Thanks! The desynced audio is an unfortunate consequence of mixing WebGL and Unity, oh well. But yeah I locked in hard and did the entire opening cutscene in a five hour sprint lol.

Great work! The climbing was intuitive. One thing that bothered me was that I was having a hard time managing my air control while climging because air control and climing are the same buttons. This is great for simplicity but if you ever add to this, having advanced buttons that only do one or the other might make it more fluid for people who want to put the time in and do some speedruns or something. Cool game!!!

fun concept, really loved the presentation and the opening cutscene haha. i wasn't able to figure out how to pick up rocks to throw at the red switch, and then i also wasn't able to pick up the green key in the next level. but i really loved this idea, great job.

Great work! The climbing mechanic is easy to understand but definitely has a high skill cap (reminds me of jump king jump for some reason). Adding the keys and throwables added a nice bump of complexity.

That intro was pure cinema.

Thanks for playing! Glad you liked the intro, I have been playing a lot of Antonblast and I wanted to emulate that cartoony feel

Liked the intro cutscene and loved the movement and the gameplay in general. Very rewarding to get better at the climbing. My favorite level was the dark one where you had to climb very high to become purple. A few levels after that there was the level where the blue ladder rises up and blocks you from getting to the goal which annoyed me, unless I misunderstood something. I restarted the level but then again I got stuck inside a green cage or something. I think the levels could have been designed in a way that the player never has to press the restart button but instead find clever ways to climb out of any situation. Very fun game though, I could see a game with movement like this being the next big rage platformer.

Yeah sorry about level 12, definitely my least favorite and needed a lot of tweaking. My "design concept" for the blue ladder is that you can stand on top of it and there's just enough time to do so before it rises up, bringing you right to end. If you don't reach power level 3, you can still beat the level but you have to do extra climbing.  Looking back that wasn't obvious I'm afraid. Glad you liked it overall though, thanks for playing!

The climbing was very difficult but satisfying to master. You can schmove in this game
