You thought it out really well, as the phrases accompany the gameplay, really nice! Try our game too and leave us your feedback :D

This is very well crafted, the reverse poems as well as the reverse levels felt so satisfying once I found out what was going on.  This is a really nice and heartwarming game!

The story and gameplay feel very much in sync. I felt like I was on a guided tour of a character's journey.

Thanks! A little bit more of a 2D walking simulator than I had originally imagined but I still like it. I liked your game as well and I should have added slapping in this too, maybe next time!

Awesome! Had a bit of trouble with the jumping but the story and ending were very satisfying.

Great story telling, I can see the vision there. And it’s really clever too!

One thing is I didn’t know that the crystals were supposed to be slashed until I actually needed that (you can double jump your way through the first crystal section, which I thought was the intended solution). Would have great if all the mechanics can be introduced in the very beginning, that would give a much better sense of all the power you have from start.

Thanks! Yes, I thought of that too but due to time constraints on my part, I couldn't fully implement them. The beginning would be where all the powers are used together, then slowly throughout the game, you would lose them and the puzzles would change to fit that. I liked your game a lot too, clever use of power as part of the gameplay loop.

That was a really interesting take on the theme, and a really smart game ! A good proof that ideas and originality is a big part of what makes a game interesting. I really liked it : bravo !

That was really interesting! I certainly didn't see what was happening during the first half, so I was totally caught by surprise. Really enjoyed it!

Thank you and I loved your game! It's so much fun, it reminds me a little of Humanity and games like that, but the humor and presentation were great.

Developer

It's what we call, a thinkin' game.

Loved it!

To anyone trying this out: Make sure you play until the end! The controls take a minute to get used to, but it's worth it!

I honestly love this. I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't that!! Great job.

I think the only thing that crossed my mind was that there are some cases where, if you accidentally destroy an environmental object, you get stuck and have to start over. It didn't happen to me, fortunately, but it was just something I noticed in some of the level design. (Though this could certainly have been intentional.)

You've made a great self-contained game that I think is perfect for a game jam. Hats off!

Thanks! I liked your game as well! Yea, it is def rough around the edges, and I next time I'll try to get someone to play test it since I am sure what you are saying can happen, but thanks for playing it, and I'm glad you enjoyed it.
