Fantastic visual polish! Super straight forward game, good idle time killer. Some of the fields don't seem to work as intended so I'm not sure if there's something happening in the background that I'm missing out on, and sometimes I run into an issue where there's too much momentum in one direction or the other that doesn't get cancelled out fast enough to avoid obstacles. With a little bit of testing and additional polish, this is basically a complete game. Incredible work in the time frame :D

How does your game represent "Power"?
'Power’ interpretation - Electromagnetic energy is the cornerstone of everything we directly perceive in the natural world. The player has control over the character’s polarity, making electromagnetic energy the main source of interaction and movement in the game.

Pretty nice game, although I am pretty bad at it haha. The music was kinda bobbin' I like that.
Very interesting way to interpret the theme, I like it! The controlls felt pretty good and the colours were pretty nice
Great use of the theme. I really enjoyed it and I like the use of color.
Really neat game! I think the character moves a bit too slow when being attracted/repelled by surfaces, but I think that just means you have to plan your movement in advance which adds to the gameplay.
A really solid arcade runner that I could def see myself getting hooked on! I do think the game could use some polish regarding clarity though. I initially thought some of the obstacles were actually background elements due to them sometimes blending in with polarity fields. There were also times where I would die because I didn't know an upcoming field would be significantly stronger. And I did also notice there were occasionally times where it seemed as though the field being shown was actually opposite of what was shown (e.g. a red field pulling me in while I was set to a red charge). I think addressing those aspects would really help make this even more fun! Great work!
Reminds me of Geometry Dash.
There's fun upbeat music, a good-looking style with clear colors.
The difficulty is quite high I believe (or I'm plain bad). I think this game could do with either
- A slower pace (similar to the slow powerup in the game).
- An instantaneous boost in the according direction whenever the player swaps polarity (this way momentum does not make me lose if I was moving too long in the same polarity).
- A more zoomed-out camera to be able to prepare for what's to come.
It was a nice short experience that may or may not have fried my brain.
Thanks a lot for the very clear feedback .
Regarding the pace, we meant to add a difficulty setting that would let you decide your starting speed, giving you an higher score if you started faster.
Regarding the camera, I get you, we noticed too late and our system was too clunky to allow such a change. there is the "alert" system to compensate for it but it's not enough by itself.
Regarding the boost, I think with our time frame it was hard to implement in a balanced way.
But we will test it for future releases!
Classic "infinite" runner (with hand-crafted levels) and with a theme-fitting twist on the core mechanic. Clean art style and a fitting soundtrack~
A lot of different primitives playing together here which keeps it interesting. My only problem is that I am not very good! I was easily confused because direction could change independently of your charge, even though I understood why. I think that was the kicker for me. Otherwise, one small suggestion purely for accessibility: Make the obstacles stand out a bit more maybe by stacking them on top and using a bright outline instead of a dark one. I often simply did not see a shape coming but eventually memorized the level xD
Nice work!
The game has a very unique control feel! Thinking in terms of magnetism makes sense, but since the colors move in the opposite direction, it’s easy to get confused. The visuals are clear and easy to follow, and while things don’t move exactly as I expect, that makes it interesting and fun.
I really dig the theme! The controls remind me of some of the classic mobile games from the 2010s. I'm not sure if increasing the pull/repel force would make certain parts easier, but there were some moments where I couldn't change direction in time and avoid an obstacle. Challenging but really fun!
Flappy bird but more POWER! A great original twist to the mobile games a grew up with!
Fun atmosphere and a great game assembly all together!
Cool game! Reminds me of the jeypack joyride gravity switch LOL. Even though I sucked at it it was a fun time with the quick switches!
Hi! I am one of the two developers who worked on this game. I recently noticed a problem that is entirely my fault—due to a PEBMAC error.
At the end of the game, there should be credits for the people who helped make it, but they don’t load properly. To make up for it, I’ll write the proper credits here:
Art by KHCrystal (here’s her site)
Music by Red (@thered9939 on Discord)
Game Design by Matteo Guercio (@IlTeoG on Telegram)
Programming by I8duty (mt0t on GitHub) and Cristiano (me, ChristianumSolacium on GitHub)
Sorry for the mistake, and thanks for playing!
Mechanically this game is super cool, it has that nice ebb and flow with switching polarities, although the transition from up to down and vice versa seemed a little slow at first. The presentation is clean and slick and the track playing in the background is a bop. Nice work!
the mechanics destroyed me. I thought of myself as a pro gamer, but i'm just not fit to be an electromag wave i guess. Very nice visuals, i like them a lot!
This game breaks my brain. It gets really intense really quick which is fun.
