Really cool game and original.. Took a few tries to understand the gameplay but overall quite good game. You could improve on it as a personal project with more.

Great puzzle game, the only problem was that I only found out that it was a puzzle game on the last level, and before that I was using a glitch that makes it so when you click the rocket, it boosts forward soooo, yee.
Good luck on the jam!
This was a pretty good entry! I'm not sure I caught the theme in use except maybe for those frog-teleporter things. Solid prototype to build on!
A quick quality of life thing might be to let players rotate arrows in either direction.
I would maybe switch out the music for something else--the dance theme doesn't quite seem to fit what's happening here, but that might just be me.
Since this game was done in such a short amount of time (just 24 hours), its objective was to create a prototype for a mobile game, I’m going to focus my review of the game as if I was reviewing a prototype and not exactly a jam entry, which generally has a little bit more polish.
THE GOOD PARTS
-
It’s straightforward.. As any mobile game should be, this game doesn’t need any explanation, align the arrows and get the rocket to the target. I think the game nails this and gets straight to the point.
-
It’s has some neat puzzles. But more importantly, it has a LOT OF POTENTIAL. What about objects that you have to avoid? Arrows that don’t move in the 4 cardinal directions? Timed switches? The ideas are endless for this one.
THE BAD PARTS
-
The background music didn’t really fit IMO. There’s really not a lot to comment about this, it’s my purely subjective opinion.
-
The behavior of the switches can be communicated better. The arrows that are moved by switches don’t show where will they be aiming after I activate their switch; in this prototype it’s evident that they’re going to aim to where you need them to aim but do keep in mind that you’re going to want to communicate this if you’re going to a full release.
-
I didn’t really FEEL the theme on this one. I don’t see how guiding the rocket with the arrows aligns well with the LOOP theme, to be honest.
CONCLUSION
It’s a neat mobile-focused experience. I think there’s a lot of potential here for a mobile release; give it a go, it’s a short 8-level game that will leave you with a great impression.
Great work!
Thank you for your time and brief review Zcyon, If you just click on the rocket without interacting with anything you will realize that it will keep moving in a loop, my basic idea was that you have to break the rocket loop and destroy the target, initially it was planned like that and at the last moment I made it so you have to touch it first, I thought it will be much more convenient, by the way, thanks for trying it out :D Cheers
For a 24 hours project, this is pretty cool ! I really like the simple and fun gameplay, and this is intuitive ! I'm sure it would be a great idea to develop a mobile version of this game ;)
Good work !
Yeah I think this would work really well on mobile! Add in a few more mechanics and some harder levels and you'd be set.
Two suggestions: 1. Make the rocket faster. 2. Design some levels where the player has to switch the arrows while the rocket is already in flight.
The mechanics were very nice, the section designs could have been a little more difficult
Wow great work, this was a really polished, impressive entry! I thought the take on the theme was unique, and it was quite simple to pick up and get going. I really enjoyed it!
Good mechanics and simple but functional concept, it has potential to become a mobile game for sure!
The game is very polished! I really liked the game, the levels were really fun, the game gets started straight away. The controls are very intuitive! The only problems I encouztered were the rocket going offscreen not reseting the level straight away and clicking the rocket mid-level would launch it upwards... Very cool!
a solid and enjoyable puzzle game with a good learning curve, congratulations on making it in 24h
