Really love the art and all of the designs, especially the first boss plane/helicopter. Really solid gameplay too, good controls and fair and varied boss attack. Only thing is that I felt like when the first boss was shooting the contrast wasn't enough on the orange bullets making it really hard to notice until already being hit

Ok, I love how easy to understand this game is. It's simple, you shoot, you dodge bullets, have pickups and can dodge by performing an epic barrel roll, like literally, why is the barrel roll so epic with the slow mo, I love it.

The controls, don't get me started. I couldn't have asked for better controls, they behave so good that it feels they and I have the same thought process.

The boss fights are really good, they have very easy to learn attack patterns while also doing combos from time to time to avoid repetition and monotony, They aren't hard to beat but they aren't easy either.

And the visuals of this game I don't know what to say other than 10/10, it's just so lovely and vibrant.

Overall, this is a really fun game, it's pretty much as the same level of fun as arcade games. It's quick, you enter, you fight, you win or lose, you try again. Like it's incredible how replayable this game is with just the same two bosses and by just having one month to make this.

The art in this game is exceptional! And the boss fights were so much fun, I even wanted more.

Really well-made and polished game! love the art and music you have here! I love how i can target certain parts of the ship to deal damage! It's really interesting mechanic!

(PS: If you're willing to I'd love it if you can rate and leave some feedback on my game! This is my first ever jam and I'd love to see where I can improve for the future!)

The art is awesome, really well made pixel art, also the action is fun, the mechanics work great even the barrel is useful too, the fact that we can break individual parts is really interesting and makes it more challenging, really well made, I could only advice maybe to make the hitbox of our ship smaller, but its personal liking of me so its cool as is, I rate graphics, fun, control and music the most but all is good really, also, if you have some time, please, rate my game, thanks!!!

The art is fantastic and i love that effect of targeting certain parts of the bigger ship and those pieces falling off or exploding.

really polished and fun game, good job!

Cool little game. The quality of the presentation overall is off the charts. While I have some issues, it can't be said enough how much detail has actually been packed into this game.

First of all as I said before, the detail in the art is great. It's really impressive how many individual moving parts you managed to get on the ship in the first phase. That said, I also think it was almost too much detail at times, mostly because it hampered readability quite a lot. Since everything about the ship was that detailed, not much of it stood out enough at times, so I wasn't sure at first what was actually damageable and what wasn't.

Add the abundance of effects as well, and the enemy bullets which didn't really stand out enough from the background ( imo ) and it almost felt a little too chaotic at times. The red AOE attacks were definitely very noticeable though. I could hardly see the guy who'd spawn at the center of the ship and shoot rockets at me sometimes ( Probably just a skill issue though ). The second phase didn't really suffer from these problems though.

I think the boss's rockets could've been a little slower though, just to be slightly more forgiving.

All that said, I still think the fights are pretty solid. I think the main spin mechanic is also pretty cool, albeit somewhat loose with how it utilises the theme.

For something this short, it has a TON of quality packed into it which is both polished and fun. Great job on this

Thanks for the assessment. But the topic of spin didn't say it's core mechanics. :D I have spinning fans on the wings, fly out spinning saws on the second stage. The main character spins as barrel. Everyone understands the theme as they understand it. Best Regards for playing!!!
