The game is simple yet it's fun. It took me a while to realize that cutting all the trees would make more spawn. I enjoyed the gameplay, but I feel like it could use something extra, maybe an additional mechanic or just a shorter cooldown on the attack. That said, aiming the axe to cut multiple trees in a single throw is satisfying.

I really enjoyed the last two bosses, I died multiple times but kept going until I finally won. It took me a while to realize that the only way to die was by staying in the darkness for too long, and I didn’t notice any differences in the activation runes. The music is fantastic, and the game is fun, but it could use some polish, especially regarding the screen/camera size, as it was hard to see during the final fight, and possibly the player's size and hitbox.
The concept was really creative, and the shift to 2D was incredible when reaching the boss's HP threshold. The spin theme fit perfectly, and the battle and art is great. I noticed that sometimes the game would freeze when the first dynamite exploded, I'm guessing the explosion is done with particles? I had the same issue in my game and managed to fix it by running them for 0.1 seconds at the start. Amazing game!
Great idea based on the jam’s theme, and the bosses spinning with each turn/attack was really creative. I found the elephant the most fun to fight—he felt more balanced, and both of his attacks were interesting. I did two runs, and in both, he ended up as the final boss.
I wish there were more control options; my fingers were hurting by the end because of using Space and Shift. I would have preferred using the mouse for one of those actions. The music is also great, t fits the game perfectly. Well done!
