I loved the art, and the game itself is really fun. I couldn’t dodge most of the attacks, I just tanked them and hit back, and I’m not sure if that’s how the game is meant to be played. Only a few attacks I could actually dodge . But even so, it was really fun! The art and sound were great, and I loved the updates as well.
The idea of the indicator is really great, I’ll definitely implement it and work on improving the feedback for the boss receiving damage. As for the Panda skill, I really like it, and it’s the one that received the most compliments during playtesting. It’s also the skill I put the most effort into, with visual and audio cues for the player to react to. Just use the dash the moment it’s about to shoot the lightning, it’s not complicated, and it’s even possible to get a perfect dodge this way. Thank you for the feedback, and I’m glad you used the controller to play, I think it’s more fun with the gamepad! I’ll definitely do something about losing sight of the boss. It was also suggested to add a small arrow on the edge of the screen showing the boss’s position, so I’ll probably try that suggestion first. Thank you!
Thank you for playing! I’m sorry the PlayStation controller didn’t work, I have no idea what the issue might be. I’ll ask a friend to test it and check if there’s a problem. Regarding the feedback on player receiving damage, I’ll research ways to improve that. It’s something many people have pointed out.
I loved this game! It is very complete, and the visuals and sound are great, I even spent some time walking around the casino just to appreciate how beautiful it looked. The boss battles were really good too, but I felt overpowered with all those upgrades. My favorite was the second boss, I died once to him and saw a nice variety of his spells, but the second time I was so strong that I didn’t even get to see some of his attacks. Great game, very fun and well-made!
I wasn’t expecting that pause, I was sure it was a bug haha. Aside from some quality-of-life improvements, like going to the menu to upgrade the skill tree, the game is excellent. The boss designs turned out really well, the second and last ones were my favorites! Great job, it was super fun to play it!
I liked the game, straight to the point with the bosses, and the shop upgrade system and animation are fantastic. It gave the game a really good feel. You included a lot of bosses, which must have been challenging with so many models, but some could have been further developed to have more attacks. My favorite was the succubus, if she had one or two more attacks, the fight would have been even better, but I understand you already did a lot within the time given. Great job!
I really liked the idea of the second boss, for me, it was the most interesting. The third boss was cool too, but there were many moments where I couldn’t hit him, and I died a couple of times without a safe place to land. I just didn’t like the dash, I didn’t even use it in the game. It was too easy to fall off the platforms with it, and also because its direction was tied to the mouse instead of the movement buttons. I loved the art too, great job!
I really liked this game, it's really fun. The atmosphere of the game is great, with the little skeleton defeating the big stone boss and the musica fits really well. I appreciate that you added wake and death animations for the boss. I think it would be interesting to allow the player to shoot normally if they don’t have enough mana for the double damage shot, it’s hard to keep an eye on mana while dodging everything. Very fun game, good work!
