I think this is great, i like the music, art and the game is fun.
I wasn't quite sure what was powering up the special move but it came in handy with the manager.
good job!
I love the art so much, it looks fantastic.
The game plays well, the controls are nice and simple but there is a lot going on so it doesn't feel boring.
My only feedback would be maybe add a screenshake to show when you've been hit because i didn't realise i was taking damage.
The player colour changing when you're hit is usually atleast a good part of that but if you're looking at everything else on screen it can be hard to know if you've taken damage without some kind of screen wide feedback and a sound.
Game is fun though, good job!
I love it, one of the hardest things about games like these is getting the controls right but it's such a dream to play despite so much going on.
I love parry systems but sometimes they can feel a bit laggy or the timing for them is too long or too short but this is exactly right.
Really really cool game and I'd buy and play a bigger version. Great job!
I really like the music and the boss looks cool.
At first i thought i wouldn't like the gameplay becuase it seems a bit too simple, nut actually the sprial things caught me a few times and i thought it was fun.
The only thing i'll say that wasn't so good was that it was too short, which in a way is also a good thing cause i would've liked to have played more.
The game is fun, good job!
As someone else said I wasn't quite sure if i was actually hurting the boss or not.
I think in another comment you said you wanted more animation for the main character but ran out of time so maybe you don't need this advice but a good way of doing character animation in godot in a simple way is to create a sprite sheet which is kinda like a comic panel and has multiple frames of your character moving, so like a simple walk would be the arms being still in frame 1 then move a tiny bit in frame 2 and so on. In godot an animated sprite 2d can take this sprite sheet and split it up into the individual frames then you can define what that animation is, like walking, and set it to be played when the character moves in the code.
I'm sorry if you already knew all that and me explaining that comes across in the wrong way but just incase i thought I'd say.
I like the art and vibe, the idea is definitely there.
The music is really cool, I've played a few games in the jam today that didn't have any sound and I was starting to get worried it was on my end.
I like the premise and the idea but unfortunately i think i am having issues, the camera doesn't move and the spinners keep flying off the screen and not much else is happening.
I don't know if that is on my end but it's a shame because the game seems cool.
At the very least you set a pretty cool vibe
I didn't hear any sound or music, I don't know if that was intentional or not but i think it may have added to the feeling of it being a bit slow with the text.
I like puzzle games like this and it is a good concept but i think maybe it takes a little too long to get into and the text is far too slow, but like i said previously, that feeling of it dragging might be due to there being no sound.
I think the idea is solid, just needs a bit more fleshing out and polish.
This is absolutely fantastic and easily one of my favourites of this jam.
The presentation, UI, art and music are all ace but the playing the game is so much fun.
The tombola is such a great way to do rouge type stat increases and I would get excited when one of the yellows would hit.
You did such a great job, well done!
