Rated! ;) You are the only one with this concept! Great idea for this theme!
Thank you if you rate my game as well.
All the best, keep it up!

Very cool concept, I love the premise! That dice def belongs in dice jail, I have not seen a single 20 but saw a million 1s. Some qol I wish the game had was a skip dice roll option. Each turn the dice roll takes a long time, and it gets repetitive. Otherwise, a nice unique game!

Developer

Thank you so much for your feedback! The speed of rolling/skip functions is something I will definitely update as soon as possible!

Hehehe, I’m surprised no one else used this concept, but that just makes it even better for you! Great job!

I felt like i was playing DnD! Warlock all the way baby! Thanks for a fun game, congrats on submission! Feel free to try ours if you like!

The dice mechanics is cool. Wish the cutscenes were skippable tho. I also likes the strategy part of the game.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, I will be sure to add an option to skip the cutscenes!

Top 5 game I've rated so far (50+ rated games). Mechanics and concept were unique and fun. I swear to god I never rolled over a 12. One small thing is the rolling takes a long time; I would have much rather all 5 spin and then one after the next they land in quick succession. I liked that there were different classes and I realize that the spinning of the wheel to choose the class was probably done solely for the game jam's theme but I would have much rather unlocked and then had to choose which class to use instead. That would also open the door for upgrading and stuff. Overall though great game and a fantastic start if you plan to continue development!

Thank you so much for the awesome feedback, faster rolling is definitely on my to-do list, and I like the idea you have for that! I will try to rework my function for picking the numbers so higher values are a little easier to obtain. I like the idea for the the classes too, maybe have a type of skill tree to unlock new class based abilities too and you can pick your abilities before each battle!

I like the intro, character design is really good and story add depth to the game, also the game mechanics is original, i was not expecting it to be like this but it feels good, I rate graphics on top of everything but all is cool, also if you have time, please rate my game, thanks!!

Haha I love the idea of the player being the dice. I've just recently played my first DnD campaign so this had me interested straight away! The overall idea is very cool but unfortunately ran into a few freezes that had me restart, but I can't wait to see this when you're able to edit it after the jam!

This puts my addition skills to the test! There's just something so entertaining about the protagonist being a die and everything else being an actual living thing haha! I haven't played a lot of turn based games lately, but it's still one of my favorite genres, and this one puts quite a unique spin (pun intended) on it. I enjoyed it a lot! Well done!

٩( ๑╹ ꇴ╹)۶ Thank you so much!

This is really cool take on a dice battle system. I could see lots of potential with the numbers interacting in different ways. This could even be something nice to use in an educational game. Super cool, nice job

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much, and that is a fantastic idea, I homeschool my kids so I think they'd be stoked if I could make them their own little educational game! (*・‿・)ノ⌒*:・゚✧

I really loved the style that this game had going and the narrative concept that it was...rolling with.

Unfortunately once I got into what I presume was about to be actual gameplay, my UI froze and I was no longer able to interact with anything ;_;

I greatly appreciate it, I went and decided to change to a web build at the last second, and I really should have included a windows build for the Jam, TLC said "Don't go changing how you build, please stick to the formats and the exports you're used to"... or something like that HAHA. But, I will have a proper windows build put up after the jam is over if you are still interested in beating the bosses.

Submitted(+1)

I love the premise, I'll absolutely be looking for a new build!

This game is very beautiful, and I love the concept, but once I got to the boss battle part, nothing happened. I'm not sure if part of the game is broken or if what loaded is all there was time to create in the limited space of game jam. I love that there's a volume bar for sound, a lot of the games have music that's just too loud, and no way to change it.

Developer(+1)

Is it not rolling the dice into the pool or is it never showing any skills or dice? Everything works on my end and the few testers I had play it :(

Submitted(+1)

I got to the scene where the bosses should start, but then nothing happened, just a speech bubble that indicates you can press play, and I clicked on it but it didn’t continue to scroll. I will check it out on my husband’s newer computer, maybe it will play fine on his

Thank you so much for letting me know!! I will definitely figure out what is causing the bug and get it squashed.

Here to report that unfortunately I hit the same issue at the same frame on a different machine :(
