I dont have a computer that is powerful enought to run the game at full speed but I really like the visuals and the mechanics, its so well made, I rate graphics, fun, control and mechanics the most, all is good really, also, if you have some time, please, rate my game too, thanks!!!

Good game! I like it when I have to choose between damage and defence. But I think the boss's HP is just too high. Great job

Cool looking game, especially the Boss looks very unique and is quite nice animated. The spinning part / mechanic is quite interesting but I had trouble understanding it at first. Also it was sometimes hard to time a Jump to evade the ground attacks. I would have liked a range attack in addition to the melee part as one is forced to move in and out of the boss, which might be your intention but at close range it is hard to evade anything - but I guess that’s a skill issue ;)

Anyways, cool looking game and fun. A Job well done!

Thanks you sooo much for your comment!! It is true that it was out intention to make the player go in and out. But we understand that it needs more versatility on order to make a no-hit Run possible. Either way, Stay tuned for a future update!

That boss design is crazy! Took me a while to figure out the damage dealing mechanic, but it's a really creative one! Nice use of the theme, and it's cool how the boss and attack patterns change between playthroughs. Cool entry!

I think the atmosphere of the opening is pretty good, running towards the monster and seeing how it towers over you and the camera pans upwards to center on it sells this abomination's aura quite well. I don't know about vertigo, but I like how it does make me feel miniscule and about to attempt a giant killing.

Could call even call Tiago João instead, the spiraling monster being what will be the beanstalk that leads you to a world of giants is... a setting, for sure. (Then I could see the vertigo coming in, as you  climb the beanstalk and look back to the city you were in until just now.)

Is the crystal on its back a detail or a weak point? I kept trying to attack it thinking i'd deal more damage, since you deal so little even at max charge. I like the system, but it isn't well polished enough to be truly enjoyable.  In a way, I think I'd rather have two dash options, or simply a dash and a backdash, one that ATK+DEF- and one that ATK- DEF+ to make it less about going to the boss, running for a while around it, returning to it. This way, you'd also allow yourself to design bosses which aren't nailed to the center of the battlefield due to your main mechanic.

Thank you for playing the game! The crystal was originally meant to be a weak spot, but we ran out of time to implement it. I think the dash mechanic is a good idea; maybe we'll work on adding it in the future. Also, I'm glad you noticed the camera pan! I was originally having trouble fitting the boss on the screen.

Really unique mechanics and cool boss design! I think it will be useful if the character can dodge roll or dash to evade the boss attacks. Nice works!

Having tried and failed to get a spinning arena working myself, I am glad to see a game here that pulled it off! The boss and arena design are very cool and love how the theme has been worked in. The UI was a great visualizer of the mechanic once I read the description to understand it. I would say some of the audio needs to be faded/trimmed as you get kind of abrupt stops to certain sounds like boss attacks. Good stuff overall!

thanks for the very mind comment! We are very glad and proud about that Simple mechanic that out programmers were able to create! We were getting it all on the spinning arena so that we could engage more on the theme. We will definetly make upgrades to the game and make it cleaner and more consistent.

Awesome looking boss, but the running to swap between offense and defense wasnt very intuitive without reading the description

Would appreciate the jump animation finishing faster

Played on web, which might be a stretch, the game not playing that smoothly. The defense up and attack up mechanic was interesting but the boss in itself a bit underwhelming.

Thanks for your comment! We are glad you enjoyed our mechanic and it is true that the boss could have been better developed. We had lots of ideas but we had to simplify a bit to meet the deadline ^^ the fact that he procedurally changes attacks each time you play was a big challenge. Pay attention to the skulls he has ;)

I got stuck on the boss and couldnt move, he didnt seem to be able to damage me after that either...
