Nice sprites and animation. Good music, the gameplay was a bit rough, but there's a foundation for a really exciting game. Good job :)

Cool game. I liked the simple sprites and animations and the music/sounds were fun to listen to.

Definitely an interesting difficulty spiked going from boss 1 to 2

Boss 1 was really easy until it got to the attack where she suddenly shoots out 1000s of bullets at once. So many that the game engine started stuttering and flickering lol. Boss 2 was actually quite fun but it was hard to tell what was going on a lot of the time with the panels underneath me. Also the things that shoot bullets that are the exact same colour as the ground were really annoying to deal with and dodge because I could barely see them, especially when multiple spawned at once.

I found with Boss 2 I just had to be super aggressive circling around the shield and shooting into every small gap it gave me to actually win, and even then I barely managed to win on a sliver of health left.

Enjoyable boss fights! Was able to clear both fights, the balance is alright. A lot of effort on the graphics and music, which I appreciate. A little simple and lacking in polish, but it's a jam and we're all learning, so don't feel bad about it!

As far as actual feedback goes though, the second fight was a bit too zoomed out, and the circular projectiles fired by that one attack are nearly invisible against the ground, which is not great. The boss's life bar also seems to keep going a far while after it hits zero. And finally, for the first boss's spinning section... please don't, lmao. Maybe if you tone it down a LOT, but as it stands, I think it's an actual epilepsy hazard, lol.

Omg the artstyle is so cute! I really loved the vibe the music gave to each boss, also all of the attack patterns and the way the fight progressed really made it more intense and fun!

The burst of proyectiles the first boss throws really took me off guard, and it was kind of a challenge to learn how to dodge it correctly, wish it wasn't a one hit kill lol.

I couldn't beat the second boss, I think the camera is way too zoomed out and the attacks too small to really read what's going on and it all kind of blurs together. That said I had a great time trying to beat them, like I said even though I couldn't defeat the second boss, I really like it's attack patterns and how they kept piling into each other.

I really hope you work post jam on this, I  had a great time!

I think the game is cool and plays well, I like this visual style that you make, and loks really gitting, I would like you to work more on this after jam, I rate graphics over mechanics but I like everything, if you have time please check my game, thanks!

Thank you very much!

As the artist of the game, Thank you for appreciating the visuals! I thought it would just be overshadowed by the gameplay but I’m glad you enjoyed the game!

Very simple boss fight, but tornado of ghost-projectiles looks cool. Got a motion sickness when arena started to spin hard.

Thank you. I designed the first boss. This was my first time programming a boss in this way.

The second  boss is actually really fun!  But I brought the boss to 0 hp 3 times and it didn't die

The music is amazing! Great job on that!

That said, the first boss is wayy to hard: the player has no iframes and the boss shoots 10000000 projectiles at once and can teleport right in front of you, the final attack was so hard that I just ended up killing the boss before that

yeah its a bit scuffed xd, we were all over the place so its not really balanced and buggy since we had to rush because it was our first time at making bosses and it took us too long

Thank You,  Yea, I noticed this myself for the second boss. We ran out of time to fix this before the jam,  I tested the second boss  using  a print statements. At 0 the life is actually 19 so if you kept shooting him, you would of defeated the boss.  As for the first, I designed that one, and I am open to taking any advice for how to improve it.

I think the best way to imporve the first boss is an indication of wich attacking is being done, like a red flashing cone in front of it, same with the teleport, the player should know where the boss is gonna teleport

Hope this helps!
