How does your game fit the theme?
You're diving deep into the core of a gas giant planet
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All code yes, most of the art was made by someone else that is credited. The sfx and music is from royalty free sites that is credited in the description.

I really liked the visuals! Kind of trippy.
Gives me arcade feelings! liked it!
It's a cool concept but I still feel to be exploring a planet instead of going in the planet and diving deeper. But nice game overal a better submission than others but lacking the possibility for AZERTY users to not break their fingers haha. But good game :) GG
Feel free to rate ours called Tropical Odyssey. :)

Good point! Maybe next time I'll consider a more widspread set of controller inputs for other keyboard types.
I like the idea of Vampire Survivors (kinda) but more difficult to control. Also killing enemies was fun! The only thing bothering me was that the game was overwhelming at first. But when I understood how to play it was really fun!
Thanks! Maybe a slightly longer tutorial at first to all people to adapt before throwing everything at you all at once :)
Love the game! Really liked the fact the health was a resource you could easily manage so that way you didn't have to worry about burning up too much.
You want to get deeper, but the aliens prevent you from doing that. If you go deeper, they may hit you, but if you don`t you don`t score. I think there is great potential between those two forces. The overall feel was very good. I enjoyed it. The laser sound... well maybe should be looked upon. ;)
Thanks! What was wrong with the laser sound if you don't mind me asking?
I found it relative to the rest very loud and listening to it for a longer time could be irretating for some players. It sounds very rought and hight pitched. But that might also be just personla preference. I was thrown off by the sound in an otherwise nice game :
Thanks! I thought that at first as well and actually turned the overall volume for that audio source down to .10f of its original lol. I'll see if I can find a new one for the next iteration of the game. Thanks for the feedback!
This is a very small nitpick, that should probably be ignored, and is really petty of me to bring up, but speed should be km/s not km/h.
Great entry though, it was rather fun managing both combat and descent speed at the same time, it made the gameplay much more intense than I was expecting.
Cool! Liked the different take on the theme than just diving in the ocean! Maybe a bit draw out in my opinion, would like some change up in the gameplay if it's longer like that. But still fun and I really liked the unique monsters!
thanks! Yeah I wanted to adjusted the spawn rates and enemies as you got closer to mix it up but I ran out of time. I also wanted to include power ups (larger laser beam, missiles, etc) but I spent a good day trying to fix one bug with the physics.
This is a cool game! I liked the mechanics, especially when the ship starts burning up if you descend too fast.
