We decided to take the mythological theme of the descent into Underworlds as our hero Orpheus travels through dungeons and LITERALLY dive deeper into Underworlds.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?

Nice game! I really like the art, the main menu's parallax effect is cool!

Rhythum Games are so addictive! And the theme of Greek Mythology was well reapplied. Loved the pixel 3D visuals too- My Mac lagged out when the screen was busy which threw the rhythm. But apart from that, amazing execution!

Beautiful game! its awesome that you built this within few days

The game is good, but the graphics are very soapy, I understand that a week is a little, but the idea is very good

Very cool that everything was made from scratch!!! I especially like the music. I think if you work on the UI a bit (for example, add a top-bar for the health and contrast the colours) and do some polish work, that would really add to the value of the game. I would've liked to see a twist on the classic mythological story, so that the plot is not so typical damsel-in-distress / using women as a plot point - it would've been really cool if that was spun around somehow in a creative and trope-bending way. Otherwise nice, and very cool to see this take on the theme as I am playing many (too many) underwater games :D

Interesting game reminded me of necrodancer , Cool visuals love the mix of 2d and 3d. As for gameplay I wasn't biggest fan . But overall great game.

Great game, I love the art and the music, a very small thing I really enjoyed was the scene transitions, their awesome. I also really like the idea of doing stuff on a beat.

its just that at a certain point I had no idea what to do, there was this like thing that would teleport me really high up in the sky, but I would just fall down. and it made all the enemys invisible. But It was still a really cool idea and a really pretty game!

Great game. Keep it up♥

I like the idea of a game having a pulse, and it was interesting enough.

I quickly got frustrated with noregs on attacks. It made it painful to proceed very far.

The story is cool, but next time SHOW me please, with like neat graphics or conceptually, don't read a block of monotone AI voice at me please.

I actually really love the story as a concept with the theme, and doing a rhythm game hybrid action adventure considering the myth.

Great job for just a week, really something to be proud of,

Good game :)

Awesome game, really cool mechanics and great innovation.

The only issue I found is the beat would sometimes change when I changed level, making movement and attacking feel out of time.

Nice game. Dynamic music and light mechanics)

Nice game!

I like the idea and the artstyle, but I just literally couldn't get into the rhythm of the game :D

There seems to be a delay after the beat before the button press is valid. Maybe it's just me.

Graphics and audio are very nice, and for a rythm game, the music is really fitting. I did enjoy playing. I don't know if there is something wrong on my side or not, but it didn't matter if I pressed the keys rythmically or just spammed. Only after I've died I saw that parry wasn't implemented.

The game look really good. Even the menu transition felt great.

But I definitely am not one for rhythm games. It even took me a while to figure out it was a rhythm game. At first I just wanted to blame bad controls :D. So I didn't made it past the first enemy before rage quitting.

(Also I think the trigger point was offset to the beat, which didn't help my progress)

I'm not really good enough of a gamer to do a rhythm game, but I love your interpretation of the theme and thought your game was really creative. Great work! :D
