How does your game fit the theme?
You play as the spaceship diving into deep space, blasting foes with your chroma blast!
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes.

I enjoyed the gameplay and felt that the game was really dynamic. The art is great too, I just think the idea wasn't really what I expected from a game around the theme of this jam
It's a nice concept but I feel like the mouse control could use a dead zone so if the cursor is close enough to the player he'll stop following it so you can actually shoot without slowly drifting toward your cursor as the closer you are to it the bigger the angle of shooting change for the same distance mouse travels, also it would be nice if there was a small breather between waves so you have a chance to catch your breath and reposition. Also it's almost impossible to realize that it's a game about space I actually needed to check "How does your game fit the theme" to notice I feel like something like particles or a scrolling perlin noise texture with high cutoff could have created some nice stars so you could actually connect the game with the theme.
This is really great feedback, especially with the "dead zone", thank you! I will also update the background after the jams over!
Unfortunately, this crashed my browser multiple times. When it finally loaded, it was black with the message “WebGL context lost, please reload the page”.
That's strange. Did you use mac? I think Godot 4 web has some issue rn with mac, if not then what browser did you use? (btw there're a downloadable build too!)
I used the latest Chrome on Mac.
Great graphics and gameplay, loved the death sound.
Very fun and polished game!
Always having to move toward your shoot direction took me a while to get used to but it worked great once I figured it out. Death animations and screen transitions would have been a nice touch but everything else looked good! In the future I would recommend ignoring mouse inputs for the first second or so a new screen pops up as I accidently skipped the upgrade and result screen a few times from shooting.

really liked the boss fight. ;)Thanks, also congrats on making to the boss! (the boss is actually the player from my previous game! XD)
This game looks very polished and with great graphics, I like the mechanic of switching colors to block/shoot the enemies of the same color and the skill that goes behind it! My complaints, tho, are the fact that you always move towards your cursor makes the game incredibly difficoult. When I shoot an enemy I tend to hover over it, so the ship goes over it and takes damage. Even if I try keeping the cursor near the ship itself, calculating the shooting angle is a bit hard, so to fix that I would either add a laser pointer that shows you where you are going to shoot, or make the movement a simple directional arrow one. The gameplay loop itself is incredibly fun tho, even if I can reach just the first upgrade for now. So overall, a really great game!
Thank you! I think that I will try adding the laser pointer, and a zone around the cursor that player can't go through! I will also try the regular direction key as well!
Well polished game, it's a bit difficult to understand the game plan at the beginning cause the movement and the shoot are connected but once u got it, it's pretty fun, I would love to see if the "more damage on the shot" upgrade it a thing cause the shoot faster is hard to control sometimes, but I really enjoyed the game, well done.
Thanks for the feedback, my bad on tutorial! btw did you try holding left click yet?
I love the artstyle and the simplicity, how smooth and polished everything is. but i feel there's too much happening even when you're just starting. bullets are everywhere and there's barely enough room to dodge and i almost can never block (skill issue prolly). Still very nice :)
Edit : i just found out you can hold to shoot, absolutely amazing. every shooter game should have this feature
Also crashed my browser but once i got it working was fun and loved the gameplay and the art style in the game . felt nicely polished and can see the hard work that went into it. well done .
Very juicy and polished. I feel a bit too difficult for a GameJam game. I had the same problem in my own jam entry. Feel free to try it out on stream.

crashed my browser at first but when i played it it was fun and addictive i love the simple graphics really suits it overall great work!
it crashed my browser twice but when I was able to play it was a fun concept, however It the gameplay doesn't really fit the theme, because to are staying in one area. Overall great submission!
Thanks for the feedback! Btw, can I know what browser did you use?
Chrome and Opera GX
I think the graphics are very cool and when matched with the music portray a really cool minimalistic arcade feel. Great job!
I liked the cool minimalstic graphics!
Really great polished game, you should really keep working on it and make a full release!
Glad that you love it!
Wow, that is a really polish game with a perfect game feel, congrats! I suck at this type of games so I didn't make it past the first upgrade, but I really enjoyed it !
I like the game. Nice graphics and good sounds. And it is very fun. Good job!
Charming visuals and sounds! Really fun game, however is quite hard to do everything just with the mouse.
Excellent game, I really appreciated the minimal but beautiful designs, the mechanics are very fun
Glad you like the mechanic!, I was really worried about the difficulty.
This is gamefeel in its purest form. Good job!
Thank you! I just love adding more juice to the game!
