Very cool game, can't think anything to complain about. Looks cool, the controls are comfortable and responsive, level design is thoughtful. The reality shift is maybe not so novel anymore, but still a cool idea, and more importantly - was implemented really well.
Very nice game!
One issue I did have with moving to different levels, the character would (I think) get stuck somewhere out of level bounds, and it would take a while to go to the next level.
Overall good game though
Very cute game! Good job)
I loved the animations and the fun platformer levels
Really cool game ! The animations look neat and the level design is impressive ! Congratulations !
Oh man, art, animations, sounds, I love it! Good one! Found couple of bugs, but that wasn't critical to me :)
Awesome game design and the art style is so cute! The dialog system is super fun and talking to the characters more than once gave me a chuckle. The game is super addicting and as soon as I saw the death counter I knew I was in for a good time. Only thing missing I think is some upbeat music to bring it all together. Great job - keep it up!
Thanks! I'm not much of a musician but I was willing to try and make music but I ended up not having the time :p.
Love the characters and their artwork is great. If this translated more into the level artwork than it would be perfect as the environment is grey after the initial start area and feels same-y. Other than that the design for these levels is great. Nice work :)
Really cute game, The artwork style was great, I enjoyed the audio and the gameplay was fun. Even the level design was good for a game made in such a short amount of time! Good work!
Omg this is amazing! I love your artstyle! :D
The little mouse is adorable! The game has the perfect amount of challenge to be both fun and rewarding :D
This is really great game!, the gameplay is fun and challenging. I love the graphic, vibe, and the character interaction! The difficulty curve is perfect, even though that I'm not a biggest fan of platformer, the good level design still keeping me to enjoy it! excellent job!
This was a lot of fun, but also a little frustrating. I got to the end in 38 deaths.
The art is good, the jumping and reality changing mechanics feel good. I found some of the interactions between the player and spikes made me question if the hitboxes need some adjustment.
Also, I had to stop talking to NPCs, it seemed to sometimes cause a bug that led to the camera getting stuck, requiring a restart of the game.
Overall, very cool chill platform-puzzler, I liked it.
oh yeah, the camera bug. i wanted to fix it but i feel it's not really a gamebreaking bug more of an inconvenience. i also just realized how large the spike hitboxes are after submission. sorry about that, glad you enjoyed!
Art style is awesome and such a cute game! Controls were a bit difficult for me but otherwise very cool
One tip for the web build: You should make sure that the itch viewport size matches the window size you chose when exporting (plus some extra height for the bottom widget). I would also recommend disabling the itch fullscreen button for a unity web build as only the unity fullscreen button in the included widget will work properly.
oh yeah, i was having trouble with the screen size. when i set the resolution in the player setting to 1920x1080, it was more zoomed in. that's why i set it to 1360x768. but yeah, i'll try to fix it
ahh ok ok i understand now thanks man!
No problem, glad I could help. :)
Very simple but well styled game. Like the mouse character and puzzles with two dimensions.
Very polished and fun platformer! The core mechanic is great and was utilized very well in the levels. I also really liked the character art! The button layout was a bit awkward for me as pressing both the jump and swap button at the same time is very hard with the same hand. I managed to make it work by crossing my hands and pressing wasd with the left and q with the right hand tough. :D
Here’s my final score:

Very cool concept! Just a little awkward to be pressing X at the same time of the other inputs, but aside from that, I liked it!
Oh, no that's alternative inputs you can use for different control schemes. you only need to press one of them
I know you said that you ran out of time but you should be proud! All the controls, art, etc are all really smooth and satisfying to us. The platform concept is excellent! The only feedback I'd have is that toggling between modes should be on an more easily mapped key, maybe the space bar?
This game is awesome! The main mechanic is very interesting with a lot of puzzle potential! Even tho the game has only 6 levels, they are very polished and very hard, but fair. I had a lot of fun completing all of them (with 29 deaths, got me raging a little through some of the jumps haha). The only thing that i could think of complaining about were the slow dialogues at the start but I think that could be just a bug, and the fact that the controls are a bit too responsive when you have to make accurate jumps. Graphics and animations are great, the theming is perfectly mysterious, overall it's a very interesting game with a lot of potential!
Thanks man! yeah the dialogue can be very annoying to get through, there are a few bugs related to the dialogue that i can't fix now (even tho it pains me now that i know what causes it). also yeah the collider for the spikes are a tad bit too big, even i was struggling to get those screenshots lol. Appreciate the feedback !
