How does your game fit the theme?
I believe my game idea fit the theme. You will control a submarine (there is a kitten inside) to dive deeply to the bottom of the sea, which there is a treasure chest waiting for you to explore it. Of course, your journey isn't that easy.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All the codes, sprites, pixel arts and background musics I made by myself from scratch in a week base on my knowledge and experience I've gained from Brackeys videos

Chill and cute, I like the art. Good Job.

The art is super nice :o

I didn't get to 1000m deep because I felt like the progression was a bit slow. Maybe for a game jam like this you could divide by 2 the upgrade costs? I liked a lot the music and the submarine sounds! The art is cute too :) Great job!

You can check my game if you want to :D

Thanks for playing my game. I understand that the early stage of the game is a bit slow, but after you reach level 3 of diving speed, it only take less than a minute and a half to reach 1000m deep.

Also, thanks for letting me know about your game, wish there was some kind of game sounds for the soul of the game, but overall it's engaging with simple art and the gameplay, I just "escaped the pool", is this the true ending >w<

Haha thanks a lot for playing my game! Yeah I wished I had time to add sound effects :'(

See 1 min and a half with all maxed out is too high in my opinion, considering people only play your game 5 minutes or so... but you are right when I first upgraded I felt a real change of speed and it almost made me want to get to the bottom haha!

This game is a great example of what solo development can achieve in just one week. It is cute, relaxing and has some kind of progression that makes it engaging. Well done!

Thanks for playing my game. Hope you had a nice time with it >w<

Really lik this game. Perfect scope and game mechanics for a game jam.

- Please add a game sound when you pick up scrap. It's a very small thing but makes the game feel more responsive

- I wished the background grew darker and darker the deeper you went

Developer

Thanks for playing my game and leaving this feedback.  I haven't thought of adding game sound when pick up the scrap, but now think again, it'll be nice if I did this. The background will get darker according to the deeper was one of my idea when I was making this game, but unfortunately,  the time wasn't my friend. Hope you had a nice time with my game >w<

Really enjoyed this game, keep me playing till the end. The graphics are simple but  works very nice because the art style is really consistent, it have a lot of charm, this proves that a simple game can be very good when done correctly, great job!

Cute little game loves the art style. gameplay was fun and everything was clean. Music was cute too. one little change was when the player changed direction the bubbles did an unnatural movement you will probably know what i mean but it didnt effect gameplay was just something I saw. Great submission

Developer

Thanks for playing my game, the bubbles were a struggle for me, but at some last hours left I was exhausted to fix this, I ended up accepting this issue by clicking the submit button and hitting the sack. Hope you had a nice time with my game >w<

This game reminds me of the minigame in club penguin where you find treasure at the bottom of the ocean. I thought that the movement was really polished and I liked the upgrade system. I ragequit when I died at 880.

I couldn't figure out how to upgrade the shield and use it despite collecting a lot of debris.

Developer

Thanks for playing my game! About your issue, I just tried playing the game again to see if I got the same error as you, but I didn't... To activate the shield, you need 10 debris, then 20 and 30 for the cooldown, these numbers are shown in the black upgrade button. Have you collected enough...

Fun gameplay! I was avoiding most of the wrench/spanners because i thought they would destroy the ship. But other than that its pretty good, well done!
