How does your game fit the theme?
Each door way leads to a new realms, what's behind the next door? Who knows?
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I used gDevelop as my engine and made use of art assets. Credit will be given in the description

it was a really nice experince even for someone who isn't good at platforming games like me. gameplay is polished and there are no problems with navigating character movements. i really liked music and sound effects, artstyle is simple yet effective. kudos for level design - very intiutive. i wpuld say level 3 is the best because it makes this illusion of massivness but it's actually not that big at all.
i found a few bugs here and there (you c an go backwords in level 4 and get stuck in the air at level 3), sometimes x didn't work properly but overall it was a good experience. i would say i only wished the game had a proper ending or something like that, maybe just a screen that tells you you are good :D otherwise you can get kinda lost in this door cycle.
thank you for this experince, good job!
Very nice and smooth gameplay, appealing graphics, brilliant level design and more. I also loved the dying sound and also the weird parallax effect of background. Good job!
Thanks so much, really means a lot. Level design is not one of my strong suits so for this jam I tried specifically to focus on it.
The controls are smooth and easy to use, love the way the player changes through the levels.
Thanks for taking the time to play my game and give feedback, I had some scope creep idea to make the level switching also be a sort of mini game. But then time caught up with me
Cool game! I love the graphics and animation in this game :) Especially with the idle animation where the character was posing like he was waiting for the player to move him, very cool detail! The audio is also really nice and fits the realms well! Great job on the game ^^
Well done on navigating the challenges of a game jam and emerging victorious with a completed game! 🏆 Your perseverance is truly admirable. You should have spend a lot of time of the assets! the animation is also great ! I got few bugs like changing realm without any door around or while going too far on the right of the level, I fall in an non expected hole.
Thanks so much for taking the time to play my game and give feedback. And I was lucky there are so many ridiculously talented people on Itch who make assets. I do really wish I did get to implement the level wrapping. If you left the screen from the one side you were supposed to then pop out the other side
Oh wow that's polished! Idle animation, voicing, many types of assets... The level of detail is absolutely insane for a 7 days game jam! The game is beautiful, and I love the sound design.
The gameplay is also pretty good! I've found that you can walljump if you "flip" against a wall, and I played quite a lot with that mechanic =p. But I enjoyed the mechanics, it was simple but fun enough to make me stay until the end, great job ^^
The level 4 seems to be bugged? The game crashes when I open the third door, and pressing 4 also crashes the game ^^'.
Overall a nice submission, congratulations =)
Thanks so much for the feedback, really means a lot. And yeah level 4 is where time started catching up to me. In hindsight I could have just kept the 3 complete and polished ones and rather have a win or end screen.
Very cool platformer! Liked the double jump and you chose nice assets. Level design is fitting and the challanges are neither too hard nor too easy. Well done!
Thanks for taking the time to play my game and for the feedback, level design is something I still really struggle with so I put a lot of effort into it.
I almost got stuck at the very beginning because I didn't know that the double jump worked. But when I got over it, I didn’t regret it - large levels that are interesting to explore, not similar to each other. Thank you!
Hey thanks and I updated the description text to mention the double jump, I think it helped future players a lot
As other ppl said and arrow keys to control the player were confusing for split a second and I would make level a bit more compact. Other that that cool platformer to chill out :)
Thanks for taking the time to play my gamejam entry. Will take that into account for the future
it looks nice. but i wish there was something indicating how many keys i needed to find and what I needed to do
Hey there, thanks for the feed back. Will take it into account in the future. But you actually only need 1 key per level. I should have been more clear on that
Good graphics, but it’s not really made clear where you need to go in some levels. I did enjoy the game. Very nice!
Hi thanks for playing, the idea was meant to be you need to search for keys to open the doors. Thanks for the feedback I updated the text accordingly and I think it helped future players, thanks so much
