So good game! It's very interesting when you need to find the murderer. I haven't seen any similar games at all. And I very liked graphics!!!very atmospheric =)

Wow!! Such an amazing looking game, really loved the character designs. Really gave that old school point and click feel but with modern pixel art graphics. This could be a demo for a much bigger fuller game, really really well done!
Really well made! Nice use of theme, but I couldn't solve it 😅 Not sure what I'm missing. I thought combed over each room with the mouse to find things to interact with, but I'm still missing 2 motives for a suspect and am assuming one of those is the correct answer.
The only feedback I really have is nitpicks, because it's so well done.
- your feet are about 1 pixel off the ground when you use the steps
- some of the sentences don't end with periods
- I think one of the door time logs was incorrectly showing AM instead of PM because if it's right they would have been out all night and it didn't show an entry for "next day" between them like other door logs (or maybe that's a clue I'm not grasping 😅)
- I played in the browser, and if I didn't fullscreen, the edge of the rooms get clipped and it's easy to miss the drawers
- some consistency on the highlighting between the rooms may be nice; it took me a bit to realize I could interact with the drawers because the first one i tried was empty and so didn't highlight, which made me think i couldn't interact with any of the drawers until i highlighted one by sheer coincidence
Again, all nitpicks (or things I missed 😂). Great job! Hope to see more in the future!
Nice little detective game! Only thing I would have liked to see is a way to speed up the ending dialogue to try the game again. Artstyle is very well put together!
A gorgeous game! I am really impressed with the amount of polish on this game, it's a fully complete game made in a week which is impressive. The art style is beautiful and all the little touches are great, you even made your own cursor. A fun little mystery with enough clues to figure it out without giving it to you. All told a really great entry, well done to the team!
Awesome game! And amazing that you managed to pull this off in this limited time! I really like the visuals and the story and... everything :D I think some talking sounds or something even if it was just gibberish would be nice I think (could also be too much, I don't really know). Nonetheless I really enjoyed playing it and looked for all the evidence and tried to find the different endings. I found the victory ending but also some other ones so far :D Good job!
Hey Paddy, thanks for the kind words, it was quite a balance of work to get it done in a timely fashion but we made it to the finish line :D. We actually did test out character gibberish but didn't think it sounded good enough to make the final product, hopefully in future titles we can make it work because we agree it adds a lot of flair to the character interactions. Congrats that you got the true ending. Thanks for taking the time out of your day to play our game :D
I like the presentation. The left and right side of the game were slightly cut off which made it hard to play (could not press the intercom for instance and barely see the night stand).
Characters look nice and have unique personalities.
Overall nicely made!
I really struggled with this game, I don't know if I was not understanding the clues or how to put them together but I really struggled to figure out how everything connected and solve the mystery. I managed to get 4 endings, but I wish there was a way to tell which items were intractable or have some highlighted words in the text. I always felt like I was missing something, like there was some hint or clue, or hidden dialogue to add to the final check. Coupled with the slow walk speed, it didn't feel fun and sometimes felt frustrating to recheck all the rooms and dialogue to see if I could find anything new. I didn't find anything so I went through the final "Can you solve the case" again and again hoping to have the right combo. I think overall I felt confused on what to do and how to solve the mystery.
This game is well made, The art is really cute, and I love the palette, I didn't experience any bugs, and the "Behind the door" theme was captured well. Your team did an incredible job making a functional game.
Hi 6lbsofshrimp, thanks for the feedback on the game, we're sorry to hear that you struggled with the game and didn't find it enjoyable. The feedback is very valuable and important to us :D as it'll allow us to improve for our next game. We're happy you liked the art and how we captured the theme. Thanks for taking the time to check out our game and leave some valuable feedback.
Hi HoangSon, thank you for your kind words! We're so happy to hear that you enjoyed the graphics and audio, and that the cat sound caught your attention :D (adding that meow sound was probably one of the best decisions we made lol) We've added your game to our list of games to play, and we can't wait to check it out! Thanks for taking the time to play our game ^^
Super cute and polished game. Enjoyed talking to the characters. Great work!
the game is great. I played it for a while trying various options to see the various endings. is all well done, I also tried in the room of the crime to click various objects while I read the diary and nothing happened (I wanted to find bugs but I did not find them, great :3). again congratulations guys! I hope it can officially come out as a game
Hi 27wounds, thanks for the kind words I'm glad you enjoyed it and tried many different endings. We put a lot of effort into play testing to make sure it was as polished as possible, our bug report page was pretty big aha, but thanks to giving ourselves a lot of time to test we were able to squash a lot of them (not all of them ;D) I actually really appreciate players that try to find bugs, so thank you so much :D. We don't have any plans at the moment to continue development on this game post jam. We really appreciate you taking the time out of your day to play our game :D
the game is very pretty and immersive. i kinda wish there was an easy way to check on all clues I've found. Also, I didn't pick up instantly what some of the clues were. But apart from my skill issues, I enjoyed the game.
Great game! I love detective stories, and the pixel art is amazing! ^^
Thanks for submitting your game to the stream! If you wanted to look at the vod again in the future here it is timestamped to your game
The vibe of the game is so good! Also a fun an engaging story! Incredible job!
i love how the pixel art felt alive in this one. the way the trees and characters move was very appealing. you did a great job with the text system, and the controls were simple enough to where you can get right into the story immediately. nice job!
