How does your game fit the theme?
Every ingame day, the world inside of the door gets randomised, including the ore spawns, tree spawns and plant spawns, so the player's run relies on what's behind the door.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes

Nice work! There's quite a bit of content in here! I loved the music and the door animation. I would've liked some feedback when hitting objects so I knew they were being hit. For example, I couldn't figure out whether or not I was chopping trees or not.
This guy looks like me
This is to haaaaaaaaaaaaaard, how do you sleeeeeeeeeeep?
But actually a really good game
Great Game! It was fun to try to survive as long as possible. Couple things Id suggest is to potential being able to still break resources when the pickaxe is broken, it felt alot of my time was spend ensuring I had the resources to always repair the pickace rather than wait for 12 am which slowed down the pace of the game alot. Potentially add sound effects for breakable items rather than whenever you are just swinging the pickaxe to make it more clear that you are breaking something. I was really impressed by the crafting and inventory system as well as the random map generation. Overall fun game!
Nice, well done!
Nice, well done!
Good game !
Please rate my game too : https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-11/rate/2535873
Solid game! Quite a lot of items to craft, is there a way to heal the door cause it's a little hard to kill the zombies before they touch it? one thing I did not like that i need working pickaxe to chop down trees, so I had to wait for free repair
You are able to craft walls to help against the zombies reaching the wall
Also the pickaxe could be repaired and upgraded at the pickaxe workbench.
Didn't know pickaxes can chop down a tree because of that I kept thinking that i need to attack in order to get wood, maybe add different visual for indication. With just a few more week this game could be something amazing!
nice like the door animation, it was a very fun game to play and I like the style of the game too. left a rate and hope you would do as well.
Very strong entry! It was really fun and has an impressive amount of mechanics that work very well together.
This game feels quite solid to me. The door effect is quite cool (although I find myself slightly missing the transition zone sometimes). My main suggestions would be quality of life features such as indicators of your current food item, making the range of your weapons and pickaxe more obvious (to avoid an unintentional feeling of randomness), and allowing some movement (possibly slower) while attacking or mining.
Well done! This amount of mechanics for one week game is crazy! I really enjoyed the most part of opportunities your game provides, there is a lot of things to do, literally sandbox with a purpose to survive as long as possible. Your game definitely has a potential. Amazing interpretation of Jam's theme!
Awesome game. Lot of content for the time you had. Nice job!
Really good game, it is impressive how you managed to do all this in just one week.
If you have time take a look at my game.
Great job! Must have been hard to implement so many mechanics in just one week.
great idea!! well executed
A cool survival concept, a bit rough around the edges but very promising
I like the concept and idea of the game. The only thing missing is a mini map. great job!
Minecraft :) not a bad attempt. I was unaware that you needed to hold down right click to harvest for a minute there so maybe adding like a swing progress bar would benifit the player. overall good job with the time we had you got alot done
