I liked this gameplay except when I get 2 dragons first 2 doors and just die lol. Overall, great job though.

Fun game! I really enjoyed it and found it hard for me to stop playing.

Really nice game (and also weirdly similar to my entry lmao).  It's simple and fun, and I really like the artstyle. Good job!

cool game good mechanics and overall i like that the game is very clean

A nice short game!

It's cool that the levels are generated.

There are not enough sounds and effects, but the mechanics themselves are cool and bring joy!

Nice concept but needs a little balancing, I one shoted preety much every enemy after picking up few cards, some sfx would also be nice

Cute little game. The art was charming, and I enjoyed the card based game play.

Cheers!

Very satisfying when you become an unstoppable killer.

Wow, I really loved the mechanics and the surprises with each door discovery! I wanted to play again and again until open all the doors haha I enjoyed a lot!

Interesting idea! I couldn't open all of the doors without dying a lot, even still I played it a lot!!

This is really cool! It gives me big "Kora" vibes (board game)
I really enjoyed playing it.
The only bit I was confused at was the equipment. They looked selectable but they were automatically applied but thats it.

nice job! :D

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I did a playtest with a friend yesterday and he had the same problem, he tried clicking the equipment to “equip” it. The auto applied equipment should probably be visually separated :)

great game! was there a way to heal? Also wished there was some music in the background. nonetheless, great jam submission!

There’s health potions! What you get in the chest is random, and the chance of each item is the same. After playing the game a bit more I think it would be good to add more logic to how the item is selected, and also change the probability among the items!

What a good use of the theme! It's working well especially with the card "look inside the room".
Congratulation for your game! 👏

Developer

Thank you! The “Eye” card was also my favourite :D

Nice gameplay, easy to learn how to do but need some little luck from door and loot. Then beat the dagron.

I enjoyed gettin the upgrades and doin some classic hacking & slashing :)

I liked it !
I could play for longer I think, it's a good gameloop already.
I would just say, maybe make the knight graphics matches a bit more the overall look and feel as it was more " high res " than the other elements I think but otherwise well done, will bookmark it for further inspiration ;)

Thanks! I agree about the graphics, it would be better if there was less contrast between the knight and the other sprites
