I really love the game, it captured the theme and the art really stood out. Great job.

Don't also forget to rate mine, thanks

I, like one of the people below, didn't realise you could carry multiple animals. I also didn't realise you needed two of each species to save said species; while that should have been obvious in hindsight, both could likely have been clarified somewhere ingame.

Also, requiring 2 of a given species does make the game slightly luck-based, as you don't know where the other member of the species is when saving the first one, and may not find it. Perhaps the location of the second member could be revealed after the first one is saved?

The rain and eventual flood appearing on-screen was a nice touch. Giving you point for both theme and graphics for that.

The NPC which said 'I hope it doesn't rain too much' was great, too! Honestly - love that. Hilarious. 5 fun score for that alone.

All in all, great work! This is quite impressive for a first jam game, at least, in my opinion.

Thanks for your feedback and kind words! I'll try to make the objectives more clear the next time. The animals do apear always in the same positions, but it's true that they can wonder about far. Maybe a good solution would be to limit the distance they can get away from their spawns.

Very cool! We had similar ideas!

I liked that the animals had different weights and that you got to see the ones you saved at the end, and the cool flood effect!

Developer

Indeed! Until now I thoght I was the only Noah game, but I see there are a few!

This is super fun and cute. I love the way the animals sway back and forth on top of you when you start carrying more than one.

Good use of the theme, simple but fun, great job!

I realised that I could take more than 1 animal at one time only reading the comments...maybe it could be good to explain it!

I like that in your game, as in mine, there is the theme of extinction! ahahah

Developer(+1)

It did not cross my mind that possibility! I will make more testing for the next time. Thanks for the comment, I'll check out your game :)

Thanks a lot! I really appreciate!

The animals are so cute!! It's fun to lean sideways when I carry a lot of animals. It's a great game to enjoy ;)

I realised too late that I could take more than 1 animal at one time! Nice easy concept, could be easily a minigame for a larger game... nice work

I really enjoyed your game! I found it charming, fun and I even got all 8 species on my first try - I would just say one thing is that I'd make it clearer on the fact you have to save yourself - but this is just minor. What a well made game!

Developer

First try is amazing! You dont' even know how many species are there the first try. It was planned as a multiple ending game so you can play various times and improve on them :)

Haha, I can't believe that Noah's Ark didn't enter my mind when I heard the theme - nice one!

This is a fun little game! The balancing mechanic is a nice feature.

Well done!

Yay I got the 8 species!!

The game was so much fun! Short, funny, and well-balanced. I loved how taking more animals made you tilt to the sides, which could either help you or make things harder. It adds a nice bit of strategy to how many you pick up at once. The graphics were great, and the little dialogues were a fantastic touch. Really awesome job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your comment! I'm really happy the balancing mechanic ended up working so well. And congrats on getting all 8 species :)

Submitted(+1)

No problem! Would it be okay if I ask you to try my game? Thanks!

Submitted(+1)

Great take on the theme! Congratulations, I was smiling the whole time I played your game!

Submitted(+1)

Very fun and novel little game. Nice work

Submitted(+1)

This is a great interpretation of the theme! I also love the balance mechanic to limit the amount of animals you're carrying

Submitted(+1)

The system that player can't control with too much animals are so interesting!

I really liked it!

Overall a very nice game!

I didn't quite get how to save myself at the end, after getting all the pairs on the boat.

Once, after getting all the species on board I pressed the bar space and the timer resetted. I don't understand if it was supposed to happen to give me more time to save Noah or if it was just a bug.

Developer(+1)

There is a small animation at the end and a text that says "press the space bar to restart". Maybe I should wait a little more to enable that function. I'm glad you liked it :)
