How does your game fit the theme?
The objective is to survive through the storm and the player has to prepare in the calm time which comes before the storm.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
We drew all sprites from scratch but the sounds of rain and thunder we used are from a sound bank.

A fun game, thought it was interesting that was written in python, good job! Sometimes during the storm, I had lag issues and the controls were inverted. Nonetheless I like the use of light in the storm, and the loop is neat
Pretty neat game, even though the controls get inverted when the storm comes. And the sounds are a bit random but other than that , it was pretty fun :).

During the storm, you get a random debuff. One of the debuff is inverting the controls. In hindsight we should've have made it more obvious that a debuff is applied. Thanks for rating it though! <3

The game has some really creative mechanics, and while the graphics and atmosphere could use some improvements, the gameplay is engaging, which is the most important thing. I can see the potential for something bigger with a few visual tweaks. Good luck with your next steps!

Very nice survival game! You should add more features or an ending, I think. Also, it doesn't perfectly fit the theme - it seems like there is no real calmness in the game.

After downloading it, there is always a logo of pygame when the program is running inside the taskbar
The game contains really nice mechanics and drawing all the sprites from scratch is just amazing.
I really like the concept of the debuffs but didn't like the reverse controls, it made it almost unplayable. The rest is pretty cool!
