The art and ui were truly amazing.
And catching acorns is really tough, like really, really (I am too slow ??)😓
The overall Gameplay loop was really addictive.

How does your game fit the theme?
During the calm before the storm, catch leaves and acorns and use them to build houses. Building houses accelerates the approaching storm. During the storm, harvest the increased rate of leaves and acorns while protecting the houses.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yep

simple mechanic, another type of clicker game, good job!
Really liked the simple mechanic of collecting the resources and the falling acorns which even destroyed your buildings if you didn't catch them. I thought that was just a really nice touch. Great job on this game!
Pretty cool game about clicking leaves to grow mushrooms! I think sliding the mouse to collect the leaves might work better for this kind of game.
Art in this game is what stand out of most games I saw so far in this jam. Beautifully looking with music that fits perfectly, you start collecting leaves and missing fast things, and you are afraid to make more shrooms as red bar fills faster as you do, but then you say what a hell, let's see what will happen when bar fills, and then you are overwhelmed with leaves and plan your next try to trigger storm even earlier, but then you remember, why I am doing this? Do I just want more leaves to collect or shrooms to grow? Why are we here? What is our purpose? Awesome game that answers all these questions. Congrats! 🙂
Scored 228! 170/229 leaves caught, 12/47 acorns caught.
Fun game! It would’ve been nice if the acorns were slightly bigger / fall slower though as it was quite hard to catch them.
Leaf me be! Acorny problem!
1. Art is great, sketched look has a great vibe and mood. Everything is purposeful and reads as it should, leaves and acorns pop out, you know where to click. LOTS of different building designs, each is fun and cute. The design style in this game is top notch
2. Fast fun frantic gameplay, the level ramps up and more and more leaves come raining in and acorns are fast and devastating
3. Lots of scoring here gives good replayability, tells you how many leaves there were touched and untouched, acorns and accuracy, lots of gathered metrics. I played on a mouse pad so I was totally bad at the game, might give it another shot when I have my mouse. I got no acorns touched and 62% accuracy on my mousepad, not great!
Additional thoughts: I feel bad for those mushroom men who got crushed by a leaf and died :'(
Super cute art style! acorns were really fast and hard to grab though.
nice art style, loved to catch some leaves, but acorns were hard to grab
acorns were hard to catch, but otherwise this is a really cozy and fun game! if it were expanded upon (ex. as an idle game like cookie clicker) i would play this for hours:)
cute game, i found it hard to get the acorns with how fast they were falling. the stress of the storm was very fun though
Great art style and gameplay! I like how stressful the strorm can get as you balance between catching acorns and buying houses. Great work!
It was super satisfying to catch the acorns, felt like an achievement to catch them based on how fast they were going. Fun and addicting. Congrats
I loved the hand drawn style of artwork, I ran into the issue of acorns falling so fast I couldnt catch any and lost my village.
10/10 would get taken out by a supersonic nut again
