How does your game fit the theme?
The threat of being boiled alive is a metaphorical storm. Therefore, all clams live in a perpetual state of being "the clam before the storm." As long as they live under human oppression, clamkind will never be truly free.
Also, it's a pun.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All code, art, and music was done from scratch EXCEPT for the Godot DialogueManager plugin for displaying RPG dialogue.

Hee-ho. Very cute game. Cool art. Very hard game
Loved the atmosphere and dialogue. The game is really hard! I beat the 1st boss and became a friend of fish-kind but couldn't get past the rest. Had lots of fun though.
I was really digging the graphics and the music. Very cool and innovative theme!
Nice! Really cool that you could make all of this in the timeframe. The out-of-water sections can be a bit frustrating, but a really fun experience overall. ^-^
Hahahahaha it makes me laugh so hard. The clam before the storm! I did that typo once or twice but didn't think about you can explain the theme in that way. Indeed, it feels like a really stupid clam. The control brings some challenge and adding some checkpoints will make me feel more motivated. What a strange and fun experience!
When I played it I was thinking about the oysters experiment conducted by F.A.Brown (a romantic story).
Great art and fun narrative! The controls were a bit challenging—using mouse direction might improve it. Nice work on this project!
Cool, challenging experience! I couldn't get past the part with the vinegar bottle, but I might consider to play it again. Good job on the game!
The controls were a bit finicky but the cutscenes make up for them, I wasn't able to get super far as it was difficult to get through a large level where one mistake meant starting over but over all great game! Also great name as weell
Very funny idea! :D Good story and simple good design, controls were very hard to use though, when rotating character movement directions go differently, movement would have been easier if used mouse direction for direction. Good job!
Interesting interpretation of the theme and great visual style. Understanding controls was a bit hard, but got better over time!
Loved that introduction hahah - struggled a bit with the controls at first but then got the hang of it :) great artstyle and atmosphere, thanks for creating this!!

Fun game, controls seemed a bit clunky but I am no expert on clam locomotion. I liked the art direction and execution, good work!

I think the art style is very unique and the story is also amusing on its own. The controlls are weird since it seemed like that A and D where changing the rotation of the character while W and S were not. Since rotation is possible with Q and E I think "Tank-Controlls" would be more intuitive, in other words: changing the rotation with Q and E and WASD always moves the character with respect to its rotation. Meaning if the character is facing to the right and I press W i should move to the right. I appreciate the fact that you incorporated setting, however it would be better to take the log (to the base 10) of the value on the scale so that the scaling is linear, since dB is typically a non linear unit.
Nonetheless: great Jam game, you should be proud of it!
Didn't get my clamvenge due to not being able to beat the crab's second phase. I liked the story, the humor and the mechanics! I really wish it could go full screen though, because when launching my cursor would be off-screen and remove the focus from the game window. If it wasn't for this last thing, I would've beaten that crab!
Those controls tripped me at first , but really like the concept (amazing art btw)
I really like the variety of game play with the changing controls. Animations and sprites are also great!
This is cool I love the intro adding more vibe into the game, the clam control is pretty challenging but fun.
I loved the color palette, the music and the fun narrative! I found the controls challenging, but I was impressed to see how much world you created in 7 days. Well done!
