How does your game fit the theme?
To match the game's theme, "calm before the storm",

The beginning of the game can have a calm time to prepare for a storm

During that time, the player must prepare for a stormy enemy army!

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code

Some art assets were purchased or used by itch.io .

In the case of vfx, I made it myself

I love tower defence and your game’s difficulty ramped up in a fun and funny way! Seeing enemies explode was utterly satisfying, nice done!

Developer

thanks. I'm glad!  lol

The gameplay ramped up quickly, which kept things exciting! I enjoyed how the enemies exploded into bits, adding a nice touch of satisfaction. My only suggestion would be to tweak the sound levels a bit since it gets quite intense when the action picks up. Overall, a fun and solid tower defense!

Developer

Thank you for playing! I'm glad. I'll refer to the sound adjustment

Lovely game! nice assets, fine gameplay, really like it. Suggestion, maybe lower a bit the sfx bus.

Developer

That's right, thank you for playing!

It is a very good interesting  and fun game, it was awesome, I loved the graphics. Gameplay was fun I survived at first try, I guess it was easy :D . Graphics and Vfx were awesome, good job. controls are smooth and character has a good feeling, well arranged.

sugestions: choosing from diffferent towers to build can be added

Developer

Great idea! Thank you for playing!

An absolutely phenomenal game! The world is immersive, the mechanics are engaging, and every detail feels perfectly crafted. You should add some screenshots to submission page ;>

Developer

Thank you so much! How do I add screenshots? I couldn't because I didn't know how

when you click edit game on you game page. Not submission page but project page!

Woah, the last 30 seconds was pure madness. What a fun little game. I love how powerful you get in this, to the point that you can create tracks and barricades. It really makes for some interesting possibilities.  Very cool!

Developer

I heartily thank you.

Nice game! The cardboard towers and the background look really good. It would be cool if there was some sort of incentive to explore to the edges of the map.

Developer

Great idea, thank you for playing!

I ended up making a barricade around myself that the enemies couldn't get through and won easily lol. Neat game!

Developer

Awesome! Thank you!

Nice game, I had fun!

Very fun game! I didn't expect the big waves of enemies near the end lol

Developer

Thank you! lol

Was fun :) almost lost also haha.
I guess it just lacks a bit more towers and a bit more enemies but it's a solid start.

Awesome! Thank you so much!

Cool little game. Almost got overwhelmed but made it to the end!

Developer

That's wonderful. Thank you!

Like the idea, it's challenging to me and it's fun. Cool little artstyle and animations. Overall Nice Work! Good Luck!

Developer

Thank you! Your game is an isometric view, too. Art is really cool

I barely survived, but managed to get through. The only things that stood out to me were a lack of enemy variety, maybe later on enemies spawn, that shoot back at your towers and try to destroy them. Also a limiter on the Master Bus would be beneficial as the explosions get really loud with many towers. Apart from that, the art style looks great and your game hooked me till the end.

Thank you so much for the good evaluation

Nee-ho. I like it. Very fun game (first opinion was like "a piece of cake!", but ... I was wrong, absolutely wrong)

Developer

Thank you so much! I'm glad you were satisfied :)

Nice tower defence game. I was really intrigued by the visuals of the game, it made me want to know more about the witch I'm playing as and why she is being attacked. Great job!

Developer

Thank you so much! I hope to make a witch's story someday :)

This was very fun.  I like how it ramped up as it went on.  could have used a pause, replay, or general menu.  Aside from that, it was a good time!

Developer

That's right, thank you for the feedback!

I really liked your animations and sound. The enemies exploding into little pieces was very satisfying. Great submission for the Jam!

Developer

Thank you very much! It's fun to see enemies explod

What I liked: Nicely selected visuals, atmosphere in the game.

What I would correct: The gameplay seemed monotonous, there was not enough variety.

Anyway, good job!

Developer(+1)

You're right. In the original plan, there was 1 more tower type and about 12 enemy types, but... it was hard to meet the time of a week, so I made it into a prototype. Thank you for your interest!

Managed to finish the game at very low hp, nice approach to the tower defense for the jam.

Just 1 tip, keep the artstyle of the sprites constant, your floor tilemap doesn't have any borders, the player and the enemies have hard black border, and the cardboard boxes have faded colored border.

Very nice game tho!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for playing!
I'll refer to your advice! Thank you!
