How does your game fit the theme?
It's a roguelike extraction game where you do your work calmly for a few minutes then storm comes and loads of creatures spawn
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Wrote all the code, made all the creatures from scratch. Used a few assets for environment and furnitures. Made music and SFX from scratch.

nice game guys, very cool for a 1 week jam game, lag was mostly fine for me on webgl
I'm a terrible gamer, but I gave it a shot! Love the ambience/music :) I reviewed it on my stream:
Wow that was really good for a jam game! The visuals and atmosphere are amazing, it reminds me of something like lethal company but with better models lol. The gameplay of fixing the anomalies is really cool too, it's a little tricky at first but after a bit, you really get a sense of how to do it.
I got to say a lot of the abilities had to do with interacting with the monsters, which I personally didn't really do much of. Maybe if I played some more runs I would've gotten it better. Perhaps for the same reason as the last point, the theme to me wasn't too obvious though.
Overall a great game, it really surprised me, I'd love to try a fully polished version of it!
hey. Thanks for the detailed feedback. Theme is built around the curve of monster spawns. you search the area without any monsters and the spawn chance gets higher and higher and when it's midnight anomaly storm starts and spawn chance is multiplied by who knows what :D
But yeah, if it didn't translate to you, maybe we failed the theme... Personally, if a game is doing a nice contrast between calm / manic, the theme is fine but I respect opposing ideas.
I am working on a post-jam version where things get.... MULTIPLAYER ^^
Oooh! While I was playing I was inadvertently comparing it a bit to Lethal Company, because of the visuals and general vibe, so the thought of multiplayer did cross my mind and I thought it could be quite fun, so I'm glad that's something you're considering! I think maybe there could be some huge anomalies with multiple signals that you need to fix, and then having more players do it at the same time could make it more worthwhile or something like that.
Also maybe the theme would've reached me more if I played more to be fair, I only did 2 runs.
Oh also also, since you are planning on continuing the game I should probably mention that
1. The door in the little model of the mansion can be interacted with and it does end your day, that's how I lost my first run
and 2. I was pressing E a lot to escape on my next run and when I came back it skipped through multiple days.
But yeah I hope you good luck in making the post-jam version and I'll definitely check it out if it has multiplayer :D
1st bug you mentioned I kept on purpose because it's funny lol.
I didn't know about the second one. Thanks for the heads up <3
And yeah I will consider your ideas about multiplayer. I'll try to make it simple for the post jam version. If we decide to work on it more, we can go crazy with the ideas!
Nice graphics and atmosphere and the mechanic for fixing anomalies was pretty straightforward to me, good that you included a practice one in the beginning just in case. Great job on this!
Game looks absolutely awesome. Imagine this in multiplayer, kind of like Lethal Company or smth, would be incredible.
I had a lot of trouble understanding what to do with the signals though, I might be stupid, but maybe could be simplified a bit, idk.
Overall fantastic job the atmosphere is excellent.
You change top 2 frequencies and they get combined into the 3rd one.
3rd one should be indentical to 4th one :)
Thanks for trying out and for the kind words. Right now I'm working on making it multiplayer for a post jam version ^^
Really cool game. Not a fan of eery or horror themed games but enjoyed the atmosphere and sfx while I played.
The amplitude frequency game is pretty innovative and the payoff seems good once we figure it out. Would suggest a small tutorial for the mini game. Like every game talked to every person available and will continue my search to find the exit in kitchen(even though I am gonna be scared as a cat :D)
Kudos!!!
really cool visual/musical style, like the gameplay twist on lethal company, really impressive amount of work in such a short time. only gripe was the frequency matcher. didnt realize what the logic was until playing with it for a bit, with the two waveforms on the top being added together to form the third waveform with the goal of matching the fourth. it is a pretty intuitive thing, but it wouldve been nice to have been throroughly explained in the game description. times where i really just didnt get how to match the frequencies, might be skill issue, i just didnt really know how to approach solving them. thanks for entering, this is a really cool idea!
thanks for the detailed feedback <3
I agree we could explain you need to combine top 2 into 3 and match it with 4th.
Considering the huge scope of the game, we ended up not finishing many things. But we're still proud of what we've got.
Making a multiplayer post jam version, I'll make sure to have it explained properly!
Thanks again!
Love the game. insanely well done. If you made this alone that's insane!
This game has amazing possibilities if you expand it.
Definitly a work of art.
