It crashed in my system after about 20 seconds playing!
Maybe it from unity 2019.3 that used.
Damn, that's annoying! Dunno what causes it :(
Use version 2019.2 or 2019.1, these are more stable.
Me too.
Loved the graphics but playing the game made me nauseous, so I had to stop :/
I'm sorry to hear that. We wanted to emulate the experience of being OBLITERATED by a black hole and tried to make it as crazy as possible, maybe we went a bit overboard!
Man such great graphics and amazing concept, i really liked those explosions 😁
Thank you very much, glad you liked it!
Can you try my game also 😁?
a bit confusing on how to win, but this game was really cool. I absolutely love the graphics!
This game looks and feels amazing, although it kept telling me about the obliterators minions I didn't see any enemies for a while, so I started picking up crystals and then the black hole created a mini black hole, it was pretty challenging to beat it, it kept obliterating me but I didn't mind because it looked so good. The game also crashes for me at random times it seems, very unfortunate but I still had a good time checking it out, great job!
Yeah unfortunately as several people in here has pointed out the "level design" is a bit confusing. Though I'm glad to see some people actually sticking to it until those enemies start showing!
Thank you for trying it out!
Pros:
Cons:
Overall: Pretty good game considering it was made within one week! :)
Wow bruh that's cool game
Thanks a lot brah!
Graphics deserve 6/5. Unfortunately, I didn't see any enemies and the game crashed after 1 minute. In that minute, I felt like the range for collecting crystals needed to be doubled so you don't have to be so pin-point accurate and can enjoy other aspects of the game, which I didn't get so experience. Looks freakin phenomenal though!
*Edit: The game crashed right as I collected the third crystal.
*Edit #2: Played again and collected the crystals much faster this time. I collected 4 and then got blasted into oblivion by.... I don't even know. Game Over "OBLITERATED" screen was super cool
*Edit #3: Played again and still don't know what got me. I noticed that holding an asteroid in front of me doesn't act as a shield. The asteroid is totally just visual and seems to have no collider. It was disappointing to learn my only strategy failed me so miserably when I ran face first into another asteroid.
Wow thanks a lot, im sad to hear people are having trouble with crashing and not getting any enemies! The good stuff starts when the enemies are spawned!
Edit: Re-read your comment: Yeah the black hole summons "mini" black holes that follow you sort of like homing missiles, and they attract all the asteroids so be careful not to crash into neither the enemy or the asteroids!!
When you collect 3 crystal, a smaller "minion" black hole spawns at the edge of the big central black hole and charges towards you after a few seconds. Be ready to dodge it and pick up an asteroid to shoot it down when it comes for you! :)
Awesome graphics! Also like the atmosphere of the game and the black hole asset from Interstellar
Thank you very much! Yeah we were inspired by Interstellar indeed - also the atmosphere in general!
Damn the game looks gorgeous, but yeah as I saw others comment, I didn't encounter any enemy and the game ended up crashing
Too bad about the lack of enemies! :( They should start spawning after you collect 3 blue crystals (no specific reason for that though, haha!)
Holy cow, this is insane! Good thing I have a decent computer to run this haha :) Great work!
Thanks!
The best graphics and audio design of the jam. Good Job!!
Thank you that means a lot!
The graphics and vfx is really good!
The mouse controls are a bit too sensitive, maybe add a slider option if you plan to develop this further. Think the music is fine, but a synthwave, more energetic soundtrack would fit better. I didn't really seem to encounter any enemies, and the game crashed both times i ran it, but it feels like it could be developed further into a great space shooter game.
Dang! No enemies? And crashes? That sucks! I admit our level design was not perfect so we decided to trigger the first challenge event after the player gathers three blue crystals. If you try it again, the game should actually start after that, and there is some actionpacked music that triggers as well! You can see it in the youtube clip
Dang, I didn't quite have the necessary specs to have a worth-while experience, but super cool nevertheless.
Too bad! Unfortunately we didnt have time nor sufficient knowledge to do more advanced optimizations on the large amount of asteroids, thanks for checking it out!
Well done indeed! This looks nice!
the graphics are amazing man , great game overall but the graphics really standout .. well done!
Thank you very much!
I loved the VFX! The game is very very pretty and definetly one of the top submissions. I had trouble controling the Player as well even after reading your advice with the Mouse controls.
Thank you! Much appreciated! Sorry to hear about the controls, I really enjoy the controls myself, seem to be the odd case here, haha!
WOOOOW!... for now - this is my game jam winner!
Fantastic job!
Thanks a lot!!! Really appreciated! Hope we get some more votes! Tell your friends and family! Hahaha!
Everything is amazing in this game, especially the graphics. The only problem I had was controls, Its pretty hard to control the player.
Thanks a lot! Try using the mouse primarily for controlling the shaceship, and WASD as a sort of "extra force"! Should be no problem controlling if you have a decent framerate and a mouse?!
love the gfx :D
Thank you!
