Nice game :)
Thanks for the nice feedback!
I like the background music, nice and groovy. Felt like the controls could be a bit more tighter however, way too floaty. Regardless, pretty neat game
Yeah, floaty controls seems to be a common complaint. Thanks for the nice feedback tho!
Hey, loved your game, loved your art , music , game design ,a bit of polish and your game will be pretty cool!
All the best and Good luck! Do check out our game we need the feedback! - https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-3/rate/574293
Thanks for the feedback, will do!
I'm gonna give you a critical comment, I love the lava texture. But the jetpack feels very strange as if on the moon/ low gravity, It may have been your intention but I'm not sure. You could add an initial upward jolt to using the jetpack as if the character is jumping before the jetpack takes over, it would make for a better control feedback, and seem less floaty. It should be easy to implement since there are no difference in the platforms world Y position. Funny enough my game uses a jetpack too XD
Yea, I'm using Rigidbody.AddForce to move the player so it's really floaty. Should have been transform.Translate probably. I agree with the upward jolt, that would be a cool mechanic to add! I'm still working on an update for after jam voting is over, thanks for the helpful feedback!
Awesome im doing the same adding graphics and cleaning up my code.
Controls weren't intuitive at all. Even though jetpack sounded fun, using it wasn't fun. You have to be lucky not to miss the next platform because of the jumping, If you fixed jumping, which was my biggest let down gameplay would be smoother. All you need to do is to remove the jetpack and make it jump equaly high every time.
The mechanic is that you have a set amount of time you have jetpack fuel, and then when it runs out you can't have any up force until you land on a green platform. That said, how much fuel was remaining was extremely unclear when in game and the actual jumps were floaty and difficult to control. It needs work.
Sorry you didn't understand it, thanks for the feedback!
Nice gameplay.Check out my game also.
I get your back buddy! If we rate all who have lower ratings then we might even get better ratings so start rating most of the least rated games as I'm doing ;) and your game is kinda awesome , cool ,or amazing, keep up the good work and rate me please
The controls are a bit hard , but overall it is a nice game :)
Consider rating our game :)

Thanks for the nice feedback :) Will do!
I really like the game design !
Can You Rate My Game, Pleas...
Thanks for the nice feedback :) I'll rate yours when I get a chance tomorrow!
I found moving to the left and right super touchy and was hard to recover once I have moved a bit to far. The music and the atmosphere of your game was really nice.
Yep, movement is touchy. I'm working on that right now! Thanks for the nice feedback :)
wooooohooooo nice game :) i really liked the game design and the graphics !! well done ^^
Thanks :)
This game is epic.Such good graphics!
I hope you like my game too!
thanks for the feedback!
The jumping could do some work as the slight vertical accleration is rather fussy to do jump with.
Yep, I agree.
So hard. Maybe I suck at this game.
Don't worry. A lot of people find it very hard. It takes getting used to!
Good game! The movement is a little bit tricky and I wish the lava texture would move together with the platforms or at least scroll to give this immersive setup. Really nice infinite runner ;)
Can very much agree with lava texture, but didn't have time :/
Thanks for the nice feedback tho;
This is a better concept runner than mine.. ... It had this hyper casual feeling to it, Awesome work
Thanks for the nice feedback! Yeah, it wasn't intended but the short playtime and upgrades give it that kind of hypercasual feel. I might release it on mobile after a bit of polishing!
Considering rating mine.... https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-3/rate/574194
I think the movement is a bit rough, it's really hard to land where you want. Other than that it's a neat concept!
Yep, the player ascends and drops a bit slowly. I probably should have increased the starting power + gravity strength. Thanks for the nice feedback!
I like everything about the game except one thing: it is really hard to calculate the landing. Maybe you can increase the fall speed and jump speed? Otherwise, good job!
I agree about the jump speed. I probably should have increased the gravity. It gets a lot easier once you have like 1 second jump time and 2000 jump speed though, I've found. Thanks for the nice feedback!
Gameplay is addictive, even if i die easily makes me comeback again , also runners are my personal favourite 😁 😁
Yep, I agree. I spent like half an hour last night trying to complete my own game. Can agree it's addictive. Thanks for the nice feedback!
please check out mine too when you have time😁😁
It's definitely got a decent feedback loop, and is pretty fun to play! Quite hard, but that's always ok! I will say, it'd probably look better if you moved the lava underneath the player to further create the illusion of movement, and the player should probably fall a little bit faster than they currently do. Still, it's a great take on the theme and on the endless runner genre.
I'd really appreciate it if you checked out my game, Donut Wholes, as well!
I agree. I was going to make the lava move but how to do so was puzzling me and I was running out of jam time - so I decided to focus on the shop + upgrades instead. Falling is based purely on default physics, but I agree it's a bit slow. Thanks for playing, will go check out your game too!
