The time limit to reach the next checkpoint really creates a sense of urgency and I really enjoyed the game. If there was some variety in the enemies and a bit more hazards, it would be a very great game.

The main mechanic is amazing to me, short bursts to get to the next checkpoint imo is really fun. I think where I had a little issue was with the jump height and speed the character jumped and moved, I kept bonking my head and ruining my momentum when trying to quickly make it to the next portal. Still great work!

I really like the portal mechanic, very well made. The time limit makes things a lot more exciting. However, it's also unclear where to go and too much time is spent looking for the next portal over exploring the game- maybe increase the time limit? I also found that the jump was too high and it made basic platforming more difficult than it had to be. There is also a glitch- if there is a platform with retractable spikes, if you stand under the platform and bonk your head on it while the spikes are retracted, you'll take damage despite not actually hitting the spikes. Overall, good product and I'd love to see more of this. If it's not too much trouble, I'd really appreciate a review on our game if you have the time!

The title explains the main concept pretty clearly. After a few attempts, I figured out how to play, and you make it fun and rewarding to reach each rewind point. A small suggestion would be to draw the explosion in the same style as the other artwork. That way, you keep everything in a consistent game world. Nice job!

Things I liked, The concept was a bop, loved having to race around everywhere to find a portal and avoid dying! Controls were pretty simple and the overall flow of the game was safely fast paced which I liked! Your level design with this is a lso very good as no portals are too close together and yet all of them are*just* in your reach. Really well designed!

Things I didn't like, I think your passageways were a bit too narrow, made jumping over spikes too hard too do without waiting for them to retract and with a game like yours that emphasizes such fast play id give the player a bit more breathing room when it comes to that. Your turrets are also something that falls into that. Given how fast the game is I can't really wait for them to shoot and then go so if you had a visual cue for them it would make it a lot better.

Overall I really enjoyed your game! Keep making more games in the future and I hope you get better and better!

Good job. Thought it was fun overall. Some constructive feedback would be to decrease the speed on the rolling enemies a little bit as i found them to come at me too fast.  Wasn't really sure what the barrels were for either.

Good start of a game with all of the mechanics. I would have liked to see more of a story behind the rewinding back to portals and it would have been really great if you saw your character rewind as well back to the portals, but other than that, good submission with only a week!

Really fun game!  The deceleration to the character would need to increased so that it would finish where you want it to be and not slide towards danger.

Great solid game. Difficulty curve is near perfect, but controls feeling like I’m on ice took away from the experience.

Audio & graphics blend well together. Death animation & sound is oddly satisfying :p
