It was by design for the player to lose progress if they make a mistake so we're sorry for the frustration it caused you. Thank you for still playing the game despite this, we appreciate your time!

THANKS SO MUCH! We're glad you feel that way, we understand our mechanic is frustrating and we did it on purpose but we appreciate you still taking the time to play our game and of course we're really happy you got Getting Over It vibes as it was the main inspiration for our game, I already rated and the graphics are also really cool, congrats to us!
Thank you for your feedback HadiLePanda! I will check out your game and rate it as well! I will also follow you so we can support each other's content in the future. :)
Really well done with the voiceover, sounds, music and overall presentation.
But you know very well the frustration this enduces when your robot stops halfway through a jump to fall to the begining making you repeat all of it gives "Getting Over It" a run for it's money :P
THANKS! We put a lot of effort into every aspect of our game despite having just 1 week to make it and we're really happy you think that way, and yes we know how frustrating our game can be and appreciate that you still played it despite that and Getting Over It was our main inspiration
Thank you for your feedback Filtrax! I will check out your game and rate it as well! I will also follow you so we can support each other's content in the future. :)
Really cool style that you guys managed to pull off here. Really well done game. I found it a bit frustrating that you couldn't change directions (as I kept making mistakes and found myself going the wrong way). Really cool though
THANK YOU! We appreciate you still playing the game despite the frustration
Thank you for your feedback Skett! I will check out your game and rate it as well! I will also follow you so we can support each other's content in the future. :)
You did a great job with this game! The winding mechanic feels very natural and the overall graphic and sound design is done in a really charming way! The only thing that was slightliy frustrating was having to go back to earlier places just to turn directions, but I think very careful fine-tuning of level design and object placement might be good way to fix this, this is just my opinion though.
THANKS SO MUCH! We're happy to know you feel that way and we appreciate the honest and specific feedback, we'll definitely take into mind a more careful take in level designing and object placement, and we especially appreciate you for still taking the time to play our game despite the frustration
Thank you for your feedback Bombsher! I will check out your game and rate it as well! I will also follow you so we can support each other's content in the future. :)

The graphics are good but the animation feels clunky and the fact that we cant change directions manually makes the whole experience more frustrating than it should. You still put a lot of efforts into the game though and I can appreciate it, keep up the good work !
THANK YOU! We appreciate your honest feedback and will take it in mind for future projs, We're glad you were still able to play our game despite the frustration and we're happy to know that you still appreciate our efforts, GREAT JOB ON YOURS TOO!
Thank you for your feedback antiNT! I will check out your game and rate it as well! I will also follow you so we can support each other's content in the future. :)
Thanks ! I followed you back as well.
I din't beat it... yet!
Super game! Very cool art and presentation, mechanics simple but effective, hard enough, frustrating, but on the good way! gonna be a nice challenge to beat it! Also good animations and level design, the sound suit weel the mood of the game!
Very good job! congrats
THANKS SO MUCH! We're glad you're taking the time to play our game and trying to beat it despite its difficulty and really appreciate your honest feedback, we're glad you think that way! CONGRATS ON YOURS TOO!
Thank you for your feedback Matt! I will check out your game and rate it as well! I will also follow you so we can support each other's content in the future. :)
A very cool concept! Nice & original interpretation if the theme. The only thing I find annoying is the “hit a wall - turn back” mechanic: it forces the player to get back to the beginning and then replay the level. Would be nice to have either a different way to turn or make the levels really fine-tuned so that you don’t have to return. Great job!
THANK YOU! We appreciate the honest feedback and will definitely take into account a more fine-tuned level designing, and taking the time to play our game despite that
Thank you for your feedback lisyarus! I will check out your game and rate it as well! I will also follow you so we can support each other's content in the future. :)

Ok, I might get a lot of hate for this (it is very popular), but I'm gonna be honest, this is one of the more frustrating game I played in this jam.
Now, visually, this is the best one, no doubt, 5/5 star in the Graphics portion. Your team clearly got a god level artist on your side.
BUT, the gameplay is so god damn frustrating, AGHH, I hate when such a beautiful game like this have such "Kaizo" level frustrating gameplay.
Since I like the look of this game, and I think there is a lot of effort put into this I'm gonna spend a little more time explaining my thoughts to you.
1) Although the windup mechanics is cool, it really stalls the gameplay progression. Every move you need to make, you need to hold down the button and wait for 2-3 seconds. Now that might not sound like much, but having to do this 100s of time just to traverse a simple obstacle, really annoys the hell out of a player. Ok, imagine being outside in real life, and you having to tie your shoelaces every 5 steps of the way, that is what this game makes me feel.
2) If you screw up even once on any jump, your robot will move backwards and reverse any progress you made. Now, this is fine, as long as it is reasonable, or the controls is smooth. But...
3) Every time you make a jump, the robot will 50% of the time halts midway and drop like a rock into some crevice/hole. Then you would have to go back and try to awkwardly bounce along the wall to get back up...but then you go in reverse and go to another hole at the back! This results in a very uncontrollable situation, where you just bounce around and walk backwards and you can't do anything about it, but wait for a wall. You can't even adjust your position precisely to prepare for a jump, if you are in a bad spot...too bad! Hit the wall and go back!
4) All the above problem was made apparent at the start of the game, It took me nearly 15mins and I was still stuck at the bottom of the tower all these time. Traversing upwards was borderline impossible.
5) And after all that, I gave up...not because of myself, but because the game gave up. What the heck do i mean? Apparently you can get stuck on a corner bouncing up and down forever, so I was stuck and I have to redo the whole game...yeah no thanks.
If you are planning to make another "Getting Over It" (hated games like these), then I guess this game is not for me.
Thank you for your feedback TheCakeConsortium! I will check out your game and rate it as well! I will also follow you so we can support each other's content in the future. :) This is the best feedback that we got so far and we are really appreciate it!
Thank you for the honest and insightful feedback. I totally understand the frustration the game can make you feel, especially when all your progress gets taken away by one simple mistake. I agree that we should have worked more on polishing the movement mechanics as well as map design. The team appreciates the time you put into this and we hope you have great days ahead!
