This could be a mobile game.

Developer

Thanks!

Great game, I wish you could jump on the platfom from underneath.

Developer

Thanks! That was something I definitely should have added, I just didn’t even think about it. Just so you know, you have a duplicate comment on my game.

This was really cool! I was confused at first but once i worked out that you had to go out of bounds the progress in the level i thought that was such a cool way to design your levels.

The controls were fluid and felt good, and the levels increased in difficulty at the right pace I think.

Really nice work :)

Developer

Thank you!

The sprites look so cute and funny :) I personally really enjoy the horizontal wrapping since it provides for some interesting levels and the controls are super satisfying to play. Nice work, it's looks like a game that i would play on my phone!

Developer

Thank you so much!

I liked the controls on this. Overall felt pretty tight and responsive. I think the idea of having to cross the edge of the screen to loop back around was used pretty well. good job!

Thank you!

I had a lot of fun playing this game! It's super impressive you made this all by yourself! It took me a while to get to grips with the controls as I didn't realise you could double jump or what the green platforms did. You could write about this in the description or make it clearer in a post-jam version but I still got to grips with it after jumping about for a couple of minutes. Overall, nice submission :D

Developer

Thank you! How were you double-jumping? There is supposed to be a double jump, do you mean the clouds?

Submitted

I'm not sure how I was double jumping, I haven't been able to replicate it. It happened when I spammed the space bar whilst in the air. It might have been coyote time? Not sure! It happened on the second level, I don't think I got as far as the clouds.

Developer

Huh okay, I’ll try to find that out. If you can’t replicate it it could have been a glitch. Thank you for the feedback!

A cool little game, the graphics are pretty cute and the sound effects are great too. The concept is interesting though it isnt really linked to rewinding other than the rewind block. It has great potential to become a nice mobile game so keep it up!

Developer

Thank you!

Cool little game, nice and simple, and with very responsive controls. I liked all the different mechanics, but it can be hard to figure out what you can do (I got stuck almost immediately before I realized the screen wrapped around).

Edit: I didn't play the tutorial...

Developer

Thank you! Did you play the tutorial? I taught most of the mechanic in the tutorial, but it seems most people did not play it.

Submitted

No I didn't... Not sure how I missed that, but I had a look at it, and the tutorial is good. I'd suggest starting the game at the tutorial, to make sure it's not missed ;)

Developer

Good idea, thanks for the suggestion!

I like the cute artstyle, horizontal screen wrapping is interesting. Overall pretty fun! I did get stuck on the first screen with clouds though.

Developer

Thank you!

Thanks for the comment. I love the aesthetic and the horizontal wrapping of space. I’m not too great at precision platforming and found myself falling off the ledges a lot. A trick I learned from a video by Tim Ruswick (Game Dev Underground) was to cheat and give players a few frames of leeway so if their reaction timing is off they still perform the jump. Good work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I know the cheat, its called coyote time, I had it in my game, but it didn't work very, and I didn't have time to add it back.

Submitted

Awesome, my bad for explaining it then! Loved the game. Cheers!

You’re right, I definitely should have added it. Thanks for the feedback!
