In what way does your game fit the theme?
You are in deep waters and you are lost in a cave you found. You cant see, there is no light down here... You have lost colors and need to get them back. This process is called REWIND-SPECTRA.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I did. I am a solo Developer. I used free SFX and a free Tilemap.

It is a very nice game and I had so much fun playing it! It somehow gives you a calm atmosphere when you play it which is really good. I would have prefered the game view to be a bit zoomed out because it seems that the camera is too close to the player.

But overall, a very nice game, in my opinion!

Having rated your game, can you please consider rating my game as well? I am a solo developer as well for almost 3 years and I want your opinion on my project as well. I would really appreciate it if you take a look at it: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/723573

The ambience of this game was great! I really liked the theme and the lights in this. Probably work more in the jumping. Amazing job!

This was a really well put together game. Very simplistic with awesome multi layer platform design. An old jam team of mine had a similar game result using color pickups to allow certain platforms to show up and be used. Cool to see other perspectives of this mechanic!

Great game, really unique and a very fun play. I think the only thing I had issues with was the color platforms appearing and disappearing when i would be platforming on them.

Really cool game, I wish it was night time here as the atmosphere is really good, I believe that it can really suck people in with headphones and lights off. The jumping could be a little better, but the light puzzles coupled with the atmosphere where good enough to make me want to explore the whole level.

I found 111 gems! Overall it's a nice platformer with simple but effective mechanics. I like the jumping puzzle when you need to change between the colors to move forward. I just wish the jump would be a bit more responsive, I had to reclimb a lot of sections again and again because I kept falling instead of jumping. But I was engaged to make it and collect all the gems and apparently more. All in all a great proof of concept.

Developer

I am glad you like it and thank you for the Feedback as well! Ill make sure to polish the games features. Thank you for playing!

Cool game. Loved the idea behind it and the story too! Never thought on a game with those mechanics, made it fun and addictive in a way.  Would definitely be playing a full version of it and getting to emerge on the game world!  Maybe a multiplayer eventually?

Developer

Thank you Brenickova. You sure have good taste!

I see a great potential in this short game.
The mechanics are some that are very rarely used in such a way and I'd love to see a full detailed version of this game!

Thank you man!

I love the mechanics! If you expanded this into a full game, I know I would play it!

The atmosphere and color mechanic make this really fun.  I had a tough time with some of the platforming but the allure of discovery kept me moving forward

Nice game, however there is a bug where you can infinitely jump if you aim the torch down.

Developer

Thank you Kindly! I'll fix that bug.
